★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Captain Laurel lives to catch salmon, his enthusiasm and knowledge of fishing is tremendous. Not only did I catch fish I also learned alot about tackle, rigging, fish behaviour and local history. Thanks again for the great experience and helping me catch my first salmon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Out on Saturday and Sunday, once again with Absolute Sportfishing, something that’s becoming a yearly get together. We just had a blast. Laurel is funny, knowledgeable, experienced, a damned good guide, and a lucky fisherman.
Top of the line equipment, beautiful boat.
Would highly recommend him to anyone looking to go fishing in the waters around Campbell River!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maxed out our catch limits both days 08/31 & 09/01 in 2021. Laurel is excellent guide & highly recommend if you want a great experience! We're repeat clients for good reason - Laurel gets 'em in the locker, great boat & equipment - bonus Ling Cod off Browns. Already planning 2022 return.

We were fishing with laurel on sep.16.2021.
His Boat is in best condition, very clean and comfortable. Laurel is a funny guy, with a big knowledge about salmon fishing. My Girlfriend (non fisher) was with us, and could take some great photos and feel very safe on his boat. At last, laurel had a special for her. After cleaning the salmons, she could feed the seals with the gills.
It was a great experience, when its possible , i will be back as soon as possible.
