I am extremely happy with my visits to CPRI. I have had medical procedures done by Dr. Chawla and Dr. Orenstein. Both Doctors were very thorough and left me well informed with my options. The nursing and front desk staff are very helpful and made me feel comfortable during my appointments.

From the first appointment, CPRI was a pleasure to deal with. Dr Ho and his administrative office are professional, puntcual and courteous. If all medical offices would have been run like this office, we would have the best medical system.

*Take caution committing to extended services* I've had a few experiences with some of the services offered at the clinic. Dr. Ho has been of assistance in trying to manage a pain condition in my back and shoulder. I had an ultrasound guided steroid injection into my shoulder for a more recent injury that has been also headed in the direction of chronic pain. For some of the recommended treatments, I was referred to services in the CPRI clinic which I find to be expensive compared to other practitioners in Vancouver, which is problematic for me in terms of affordability. However my medical insurance covered some consultations with the clinic psychologist billed at $250 per hour. Although I felt that I was getting some benefit from the first few consultations, there were some administrative issues that derailed the treatment. There was a problem with getting me the correct resources for documenting required information for my treatment program, namely a sleep diary. Before each of my appointments I was sent questionnaires by email to fill out shortly before the appointment time which was really stressful to try and do while transiting to the location to not be late. The staff told me that they were not even required or looked at and to ignore the questionnaires sent out in the future... For my last appointment I went to the clinic checked in and sat down in the lobby for 15 minutes before being informed that there had been a family emergency and all the scheduled appointments were canceled. Although I am very sympathetic to an unexpected emergency, I am not as sympathetic to how it was handled. There was a failure to inform me of the cancelled appointment in a timely manner. Further, my insurance benefits reset shortly after the appointment which means that the benefit allowance I had saved for it went completely unused. I got the same useless questionnaire request by email before the appointment. I put so much effort into the homework tasks I had been given, as well as making a proper sleep diary after there had been issues in getting the proper papers for recording one. It was extremely dissapointing to have three appointments in a row where I was unable to properly review the sleep diary that had been assigned from the very first consultation. I've decided to not continue treatment and I wouldn't recommend the clinic's extended services to anyone. I'm happy with the services from Dr. Ho but it is problematic to be referred to the in-house services when it comes to treatments. I would advise caution or looking up alternate recommendations online before booking any extended service appointments not covered by MSP

After experiencing back pain for most of my adult life I was referred to Dr. Chawla for treatment. The results have been spectacular. No back pain whatsoever! I was advised that I would probably need to repeat the procedure as needed, most probably annually. I am now 2 years out and just booking my follow up treatment. This treatment has been life changing. i am now able to be more active and pain free. Thank you so much Dr. Chawla.

This is the best care I have ever had in my life. The front staff is organized and efficient and Dr. Chawla - well I don't know what to say - he is really amazing. He is an exceptional listener and he continues to modify my treatments to address my changing needs. His treatments have significantly reduced my pain and increased my mobility. Life wouldn't be the same without him!!!

Amazing!!! This has been the most positive experience in the medical field I've had ever! The staff is professional, caring and understanding. Dr Mian ensures you understand prognosis, measures to help are swiftly put in place. The support is much more than just medication and this I'm grateful for. I truly feel I have complete support with this organization and I thank you kindly for what you offer people who are living with severe pain and for being there from beginning to end. I'm not alone in this.
