M	Mr17Moir on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seriously, it’s a cute store and all but the prices are out of this world. The fruits and vegetables look nice but are really the same stuff you can buy at No Frills or Walmart. It’s the home of the $20 pie, congrats! Even the farm fresh pies that you buy in the country don’t go over $14. How about Villagio bread at $4.29 when you can buy 2 for $5 elsewhere. I can go to 6 other stores that are similarly high end but they respect their customers by offering them value. Sorry, love stores like this but their pricing is a bewilderment.

I had my fill of the unfriendly service tonight when I dared to try and go to the cash from a direction other than the official line up (no one was at the line up and the staff had decided to take a display apart to sweep behind the cash, which made it awkward to pass by). Regardless of the situation, they were so rude while I was completely accommodating. I've been irked by the rude behavior I've observed on other occasions too. And, they offer nothing unique for the overpriced items. I'm a big proponent of shopping local, but I doubt I'll be back there. IMO, you can't beat the customer service at Longos at North Service road; they are not the least expensive in town, but they are actually interested in seeing their customers leave happy and return again.

That said, the quality of their in-store sweets is abysmal! The prepared food seems good. At 7 on a Thursday night, there were massive queues, not enough checkouts open.

(It's similar to Bruno's Fine Foods, if you're familiar with them.) It can feel a bit cramped walking through the aisles, but they have packed a large amount of good food into their small premises. You won't find jumbo packs of Twinkies here--instead, plenty of brands for those who value taste and quality and aren't too concerned about price. Pre-prepared foods, especially salads, and savoury dishes to take home and re-heat are a highlight.
D	Don Roc on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in here today to helpfully get a hot lunch and browse their supermarket. They brand themselves as a high end supermarket, however I witnessed the complete opposite. Issue 1: The toilet and bathroom were absolutely disgusting. Urine on the floor and the seat and the inside of the toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. Issue 2: The lunch combo I purchased “swordfish and veggies” was spoiled. The fish and veggies smelt off. I didn’t risk it, threw the whole thing in the trash. This visit was a waste of time and money. Please get your store in order. It’s absolutely disgusting. Especially the toilet. How hard is it to keep a clean toilet ? Are you kidding me.

C	Catherine McDonnell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cleanest and most beautiful produce I've ever seen - the strawberries we're so colourful and lush looking that I thought they couldn't be real. Great selection in every department, including European products. It's pricey, but worth it.
