Best Campground in Canada

P	Patrick Demers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite the weather being uncooperative, we had a great time. Relatively clean and level sites, and a very well maintained bathroom/shower ammenities. While we chose a site near the highway, it was no louder than staying at a hotel in town, and quieted down at night with less traffic. There were sights farther from the highway that I'm sure would be quieter. Cell phone service is almost non-existent, which was mostly fine as we didn't come out camping to spend time on our phones. The staff were very down to earth and easy to deal with. You can tell they've had a few run-ins with troublesome people as they tell you all of the warnings and possible fees even though there are signs everywhere. As long as you respect their property, they'll respect you.

She canceled all bookings and said she give us a break on cancelation fees. Instead of $779 she charged $500. But on their website under group events it says that if you cancel 7 day in advance you get a full refund. We booked closer to jasper for a lot less.

Mama Fratelli and her strung out husband "the marshall" will wander into your site just to remind you they own the place. They seem nice until they have your money then its hit and miss depending if they had their hourly fix.Extra charges for everything right down to using the Incorrect toilet for your camping area. Portable toilets have cameras pointed at them.Very creepy. Used the wrong one one morning and they came by and put a padlock on the door. Laminated signs on everything reminding you of their rules (even one on the chopping block stating $25 If the chopping block is damaged/removed) Very unfriendly and unwelcoming atmosphere.
Y	Yvonne Dutton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good prices. Cabin #1 fit the 5 of us nicely. So close to the highway that it was too noisy to sit outside. No basic landscaping, just beds of weeds. Owner was friendly, helpful. Good enough if you're not there to stay indoors.
B	B S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excessive price with offered services. All the places were full of signage with fines which creates full time chaos in mind and you can't stay with a relaxed mind. The Property is seems to be old and has no ample staff to take care of. The horrendous part was the water supply. It feels like sewer water as the RV dump station is at the same place where the pumpwell house unit is located. All the utensils and body were smelling very stinky after taking shower from that water. Cancellation policies are out of world and nowhere you can find these kind of policies. Be careful to read it properly. Lot of better places are available with better prices.
g	glen snow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All I can say is read all the reviews... I read some and figured it can't be that bad and gave it a chance. Was I ever wrong. I camp alot for work and this campground is by far the worst. Where to start... Ridiculous policies and fines for everything you do. I have no clue how the wash house passes any safety inspection. You cannot bring your own wood $150 fine. Water pressure is super low, and Everytime you need to dump your tanks is was $10. Management was rude, Could be a really nice spot if it was taken care of and run properly It's to bad actually. Will be going elsewhere when in town for work.

T	Tannis Grant on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place! and I love Dianna and Darrin! I’ve gone there 3 years in a row now and will go bck again 2022. It’s a huge campsite, with cabins and cottages with the cleanest bth room you’ll ever see in a campsite. So what they got rules to follow, they are actually common sense really. I get a good kick outta anyone who feels they are above following the rules, do you disrespect your grandmothers house when you go there to? I really had a good chuckle over one post I read stating they drove in and out and never stayed, because the rain saturated the ground and it smelled like sewage. I couldn’t help but wonder how he know what it smelled of there when he clearly stated he didn’t get out of his truck! Always two sides of every story. Anyways I love this place it’s got the coolest sites for tents right alongside the creek. The creek is clean enough and shallow enough for kids to splash about without having to worry . Firewood is super cheap compared to stores. Staff are friendly and helpful. You can even drop your at. Right in the campsite and head on out to the trails in the bck.
