Had an amazing weekend at this cottage. Janet and Dean are one of the sweetest humans you will come across. Everything was just perfect, clean, neat and organised. The park being so close to the cottage is such a big plus point. We will definitely want to visit again. Try to catch the sun rise it is literally heaven on earth.

Spent a week in cottage #4. Very charming cottage with a great view! Janet and Dean were very accomodating and helpful! Lots of activities including fishing, canoeing, and visiting Bon Echo Provincial Park for hiking. Great way to spend a week relaxing, will definitely be back again next summer!

The owners, Dean and Janet are very accommodating and take pride in their cottages. They're lovely people who really care about their property and their guests. Beautiful lakefront setting with your own private dock and the owners have a nice compliment of kayaks and paddle boards. One of the best sunrise viewing spots in Bon Echo are from this cottage. It was a memorable vacation on lake Mazinaw.

My friend and I had a lovely stay in Cottage #4. Janet, Dean and their family are excellent hosts and were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The cottage had everything we needed to be comfortable and the bathrooms were extremely tidy. And needless to say, the views can’t be beat. I’m only sorry we couldn’t stay longer to take advantage of the canoeing and kayaking opportunities. But there’s always next time - and we’ll definitely be back! Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Janet and Dean are amazing hosts. We booked for 3 nights and stayed in the Main cottage which is fabulous! The cottage is excellent and stocked with everything, very clean and beautifully furnished. The lake is at your doorsteps. Definitely will come back next year! Tina K.

We can't wait to return! Running joke at my house is that there's clean, and then there's 'Linda clean'. Both Cottage #4 and the Comfort Station were 'Linda clean'! It had everything we needed and the owners (Janet & Dean), went above and beyond to be sure we were happy guests. It is quite evident that they care about the property and the guests who stay there. They even came around in the evening to empty garbage cans so as not to 'attract the locals'. Super nice people! Spent a little time with them and it felt like we were with old friends. They are very knowledgeable about local history and were happy to share, and make suggestions on things to do in the area. They provided a day pass for the Park and we enjoyed some hiking. The area is beautiful and a photographers dream. Heavenly sunrise! I was on the dock at 5:15am to catch it, and if I hadn't moved so suddenly, I would have been joined by an otter who was about to hop up before I startled it. Kayaks and canoes (and PFDs) were available onsite with no additional fees, but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use them...this time. Enjoyed a campfire, and then moved down to the 'swim' dock for some stargazing. Very little light pollution, so it was easy to see the milky way and there were more stars than I knew! There was no need to take the 30 minute drive to the Dark Sky Preserve. I would love to return and stay at the main 'cottage' with the whole family. The water was crystal clear, and no weeds. Janet warned us that although fairly shallow at the swim dock, it does drop off and is a very deep lake. The only part I didn't love, was having to walk to the comfort station at night...only because I'm a big chicken with a small bladder, but I knew this going in and it definitely wouldn't keep me away! The area is well lit and it is close. It might be a small cottage, but it was like "glamping" with all the comforts of home, and a gorgeous view. I could hear cottagers nearby, but could barely hear any sounds from the main road. Morning and evening, you could hear the loons call in the distance...but I had wished they were closer. The pictures don't do the property justice. I worry that when word gets out about this place, I won't be able to book it.

If you are looking for a relaxing water front get-a-way in a very clean, safe and comfortable environment then this is the place. I work for Dean and Janet at their cottages and can attest they are amazing hosts. They are both incredibly friendly, very attentive as well as accommodating to guests. They take amazing care and have pride for their establishment. True super hosts!

What a BEAUTIFUL location right on the water's edge. It was spacious, clean, everything you need is in this lovely cottage. We had a beautiful hike nearby at Bon Echo Provincial Park. We absolutely loved our stay and the host was super sweet and accommodating! We will definitely return!
