★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're reading through these reviews thinking you'll balance the good with the bad, don't ignore the bad. There's a reason everyone is complaining about the staff. They are rude and incompetent. They don't do what they say they will, screw up scheduling regularly, force reschedules on patients for their own mistakes, and try to lie their way out of it (not just a misunderstanding; outright lying).
Horrendous, incompetent staff. Absolutely abysmal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had something in one of my eyes and was going on vacation in two days. I had gone to a /GP and they saw nothing. Th line up at emergency was huge, so I ran across the street to Dr. Cote's office. They got me in immediately and he removed a small piece of rust. Had i not gone to see him my eye could have been severely damaged. He explained that he has a special magnifying glass that a GP may not have so this is why they could not see it. He saved my eye and my vacation. I can't thank him enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Cote's front office person that takes his phone calls is the most rude person I have had to deal with in a medical field. She couldn't care less about you or your apointments. She borders on abusive. I wonder why he keeps her employed. His staffs conduct must reflect on his practice.

The Doc is good. No problem. Experienced.
His staff SUCK big-time. They have this attitude that you need them, no matter how rude or ignorant they are. Their sign says that they have a zero tolerance towards abuse of the staff. I feel like putting up a sign in the waiting room side that says that there is a zero tolerance towards abuse of the clients by the staff.
Dr. Cote, you should fire them and seek out people who are nice, helpful, and caring: You have the exact opposite right now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been seeing Dr. Cote for several years. He is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. I have suffered a wide variety of serious problems involving my right eye. These issues resulted in having to undergo more than one surgery. Since then there has been a significant improvement to my vision.
I feel that this website is intended to rate the Doctor and not front end clerical staff. If you have any concerns with respect to the manner in which these girls are treating you - why not simply write Dr. Cote a letter expressing your concerns, or address these issues directly to Dr. Cote during your next visit.
I highly recommend Dr. Cote.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Cote and all staff are great. Vivian was great too. Dr cote helped me out by calling after hours to help me get a specialist to help with my vision problem. Very good at what he does and he cares for his patients very well.
