★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was great staff and the rooms were comfortable.....just minutes to the beach at Manson's and even closer to Hague provincial park Lake with white soft sandy beaches. A store close by with all the amenities you need and friendly staff in there also. We came as a large group and the motel staff were very accommodating to all of our needs and we as a family plan to make this trip again next year.....oh and did I mention the killer whales from the ferry.....oh yes and 10 minutes later a pod of humpbacks waving goodbye to us as we crossed that beautiful stretch of water.... definitely a good time....thank you Cortes motel staff for a wonderful memerory that will last our family a lifetime....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome motel, came here when I was a child in 2007 and came back. This place is near mansons landing where you can pick shell fish up. You can also barbeque here without bringing your own grill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet, clean, comfortable & affordable rooms. Great spot for Families, close to the lake and beach. Hosts are really kind and very accommodating. I have stayed there a few times and would recommend to anyone looking for place to call home while visiting the Island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buddy, Eve & John rolled out the red carpet for us. Genuine hospitality with no airs of pretensions. Clean and comfortable accommodation.
We stayed in mid-July and extended our stay two extra days. Centrally located to all points of interest. You will greet the day with pristine air, towering trees and pastoral greens. Speaking of color, when you see Buddy's colorful shirts you may think you are in Hawaii instead of Cortes. Don't hesitate to book your trip at this fine establishment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quaint motel with an incredibly friendly atmosphere. There's an outdoor area for dining and socializing, close to many great beaches, the co-op, and it's a 1 minute walk away from the entrance to Kwas Park hiking trails! The price is very fair when compared to other places I have stayed, although the beds were not as comfortable as I'd usually hope for. Both the owners and the other guests at the hotel were very friendly. We were able to see deer grazing in the grassy areas from the outdoor dining area too.

Buddy keeps a well endowed woodpile and has a wonderful fire pit surrounded by beautiful seating for the weather days. Free to use. Easy to enjoy. The rooms have all you need, and the beds are comfortable. Enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little motel, the owners are so accomodating. Its clean, quiet,individual bbq's, there is a communal fire pit with benches. We will be back. Would give more than 5 stars if able to.
