Recently got overcharged a months rent and when I brought it to their attention it was like pulling teeth to get the money returned by cheque. My name was badly misspelled on the cheque but thankfully the bank took it and thus concludes my dealings with Cornerstone. I asked a few questions in my email but the questions were ignored once the cheque was issued. The extremely high staff turn over says a lot.

My experience was very pleasant & I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the young man that looked after me Shawn Fahr… Operations Manager RC I needed to book 2 nights for the Guest Suite in April & had no idea of the new way of doing it . I left a message at Cornerstone & got a prompt reply from Shawn with the link that would enable me to book . Well one has to register & my criticism that I quickly discovered was Not User Friendly & I was overwhelmed. My constructive criticism would be to address that & make it clearer & easier especially for Senior citizens . So I phoned Shawn that I just couldn’t do it He was very positive & very patient & offered to walk me through each step . It actually took awhile & I made mistakes here & there but with his encouragement & patience we did it I enjoyed his sense of humour & his obvious delight that I had registered successfully So anyone having questions re any problem or having to book the Guest suite ask for help as there is a very comfortable positive attitude there to help their clients

He was a consummate professional and I hope to have the same experiences with the rest of the company going forward. Property managers (unfortunately) of my condo strata. They are completely unresponsive, not only taking a long time to reply but often not replying at all. I redirected the way my strata payment was paid, and instead of cancelling my previous payment information as I asked them to do multiple times, they decided to collect both for 4 months and hope that I didn’t notice, effectively stealing $850 from me. When I tried to discuss this with them, they ceased communicating with me. Do whatever you can to avoid using them or purchasing a place where they govern the strata.

Maintenance requests have been dealt with speedily and challenges in other areas pursued both personably and professionally.

I reached out to Cornerstone for help and they responded the same day and had plumber come by and checked my bathroom plumbing and gave me feedback on what was happening that it ended up being a quick fix in the end. I was pleased with how quick they were to respond and eager to help out?.

I have been renting my appartment for years and i have to say that the maintenance of our building is absolutely terrible. Our front door into the lobby has not been able to lock for the past year and now that they replaced the door, no one has keys to use it. Whenever our building needs maintenance cornerstone just pushes the blames from one department to another. And when they do agree to make the repair, it takes a long time for them to come fix it. There have been too many issues to list. Whats the point in having a property manager if all they do is take your rent and blame others for the repairs/maintenance not being completed. I have spoken with tenants from other buildings and they all have the similar complaints. We dont want apologies, just a SAFE place to live and repairs completed in a timely manner.
