It is a wonderful place to share many experiences, entertainments, social activities, and a vibrant community centre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you have a senior in your life and they want to make new friends and participate on group activities, this is what you are looking for. It's super active and geared foe seniors. Staff are amazing and engaging.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was there to vote in the provincial election. It looks like a really nice community center with lots of activities and services, not just for seniors (but mostly, I suppose). Staff is friendly, property is clean and they have lots of interesting stuff going on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place that provides many activities such as Tai Chi, Chair Yoga, Fitness classes and they also have a Wellness center that offers Acupuncture, Reiki, Reflexology, Blood Pressure Clinic, Foot Care, Hearing Clinic, Massage and Meditation. Their are some free general fitness programs but for the most part, one must pay for everything and I personally found some of the prices quite high. Other than that, a great place to socialize and have a cup of tea and join a community of like minded folks. The Cook Street Village Activity Centre is a non-profit organization offering social, educational and recreational activities for persons of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Membership is open to anyone 50+ years, as they cater primarily to those of “mature adult” status. However, we do offer programs for people of all ages as our goal is to be intergenerational.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very pleasant hard working staff. Always looking for ways to enhance our time at the centre by offering different programs. Wheelchair access, limited meals at lunch but very yummy and fairly priced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I preregistered for a program as requested. Yesterday, I phoned to confirm that it was on and this morning I showed up. At first they didn't know anything about it then someone came out and told me it was cancelled. They confirmed that they had my name and number but they didn't bother to phone. That sucks!
