It’s a little funny to see that someone really believe that the consular officials called him. It’s already 21st century now, if you have a computer, you can use any number to call someone else. No officials will call you, only frauds will.

I received a robot spam call this morning from them. Wanted to call in to request to have my number removed from their marketing list, no one answer the phone. Careful! This place looks a phishing office.

Didn't solve my problem and wasn't focusing on answering my questions. Instead, I got a very impatient lecture about how I shouldn't have called them. Very disappointed.

Merely saying it it's the Chinese peoples republic, (we like almost all Chinese we met) but then why not listen to all the people, not just selected ones. They have village elections. Why not a national one, with free candidates to choose? Why does Hong Kong have less and less freedom, as was promised under the handover by the British? Why can't people demonstrate like in all other free countries? What are they afraid of? I would love to visit there and feel the people are not repressed.

There's a reason why the ratings are so low. To start, the office have been closed for 2 years. Their emails doesn't match up with the information on the website. And obviously rude attitude.

To the rude lady who picked up my phone call, I am just a Chinese citizen who’s trying to look for help. Even though this problem could not be resolved by the consulate, you do not have to be this impatient and hang up this fast from the moment you picked up my phone call. How could people like you work in the consulate office? You’re representing the image of China as the staff working here. Shame on you, the rude lady. ( For the so-called scam phone calls, you came to the WRONG place for reviewing. This is NOT from the consulate officials, that’s the frauds especially targeting on Chinese people who work/study/live abroad. They’re doing tele-scam, faking that they’re police officers and trying to ask for your bank information. Just Hang Up if you got the scam call. THE REAL CONSULATE OFFICE WOULD NEVER CALL YOU FOR INFORMING.

Compare to other negative reviews, they are surprisingly friendly and helpful. I send my passport renew application yesterday to this location. On the next day I received a phone call (Not the fake one for fraud), the gentleman on the phone indicated who he is and informed me that I didn't write my address on the envelope for the passport return. instead of return the application, He fix the problem right the way by double check with me my address and hand write it for me on the envelope. That was super warm and helpful.(almost cried) I have been dealing my immigrant application with IRCC for almost TWO years, they will never reach me out this fast, and fix the problem like this. Huge thanks and lots of love <3
