★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Phones and Emails are not answered. Went in person and the young lady stated she could not answer phones, read emails and attend the public. Didn’t have anyone with her and refused to answer any questions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Girl at counter does not know how to serve customers confidentially. She talks so loud that the whole waiting room knows your situation. They ask you to pay in advance but never respect the due dates... The wait is long and they NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE!!!!
I can go on and on and on...
And for what we pay for, we should be getting better service.. They need new staff members ASAP.

i actually drove 2hours to the consulate of Ottawa to get service faster than in Montreal

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are very nice and professional. Answered my email for appointment after 3 days and delivered the visa another 3 days later. Much faster than I thought. Even there's some problem with my fingerprints, they kindly helped me to settle it down. Thanks a lot!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The position is a small room at 24th floor. I applied for the travel visa. An old man handled my documents. I prepared everything and wanted to get my visa back in one week. I feel that he might not be happy with the time and looked for some troubles for me. He told me that only fly-to ticket is not enough and I also need a fly-back ticket. I told him that I can buy a ticket right now. He kept looking for other problems, when he found out that I didn’t live in this province. He was so happy that he had a perfect excuse to refuse me. That’s a bad small place and I won’t go travelling to Portugal as this bad experience.
