What a disappointment in this place ... my wife did not pick up her new passport on time then, they have told her it was already destroyed well up there ok ... 7 months later we returned again to make the passport and they have told us that her passport is active in the system? ¿? And the consulate staff does not know why it was not canceled and is still active in the system ... They have told us that they would call us when the indicated person who signs the Peruvian passports returns. I'm waiting for more than 1 average year ... that was long before the covid .....

Yesterday (Sep-30) I was personally once more at the consulate in view that I have sent them messages (5) even through the messenger (they read it and do not respond) I am requesting an appointment since June to obtain a biometric passport (it spent 5 years ) I live in the USA but I had to travel to Quebec to help my daughter due to problems with her pregnancy, I did not plan to stay so many months, I need a new passport and take advantage of the fact that there is a consulate here, it is useless, there is no help for Peruvians stranded, said the lady (a tall woman with long black hair glasses, not at all friendly) who attended me outside the office, she only asks for my last name and enters her office just to give me a paper with the emergency phone #, now The emails that I should send a message to make an appointment, once again? Is that a joke? Is that professional? Is that Fair for a Peruvian who asks his consulate for help? He told me to go to Peru or Atlanta since they give priority to those who reside in Canada, and that in any case it would take 2 months to deliver it, lack of consideration and respect, bad sling, bad service, I do not I know if Mrs. Consul is aware of this terrible care, I need urgent attention and return to the USA where I live, not to a State where there is another consulate, this lady who attended me says it so easy, go here, go there, the tickets for her? Having a consulate here where I am? (Montreal) I do not know if with the experience that I have and put here it will be worse and they do not answer me but I am telling the truth about what happened and the bad treatment, he even told me ... how strange ... we We attend to all requests and messages (a lie!) a lot of disappointment and helplessness, (not everyone here is like that, in this country people are very friendly, how sad that a Peruvian has disappointed me and more, that it is in the Consulate of Peru in Montreal) I read that others were not as unlucky as me, good for them. Request a Document, due to climatic reasons, it was impossible for me to attend the appointment, a lady, very kind, sent the menu tioned document to my home…!!!! Note….I have no relationship, with any employee…..very grateful.

I am very surprised at the speed of obtaining information and processing documents. The attention is courteous and respectful. Thank you. A relief not to meet a despotic and nasty old employee that there was before.
