★ ★ ★ ★ ★ fenced in dog park across from Galaxie diner. Prepare for your dog to get dirty with it being gravel! Smaller section for little pups too. Good mix of dogs, big and small. My pup loves it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My pup and I had a great time here. Big enough that all the dogs can enjoy their socializing and freedom. Small enough you never loose sight of your dog. It's a nice convenient park for you and your dog to go to. Wish every community had a place like this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The positive: fully fenced, separate smaller area for small dogs, free parking on the street, and walking distance from many residential neighbourhoods.
The negative: the types of humans who frequent this park. We have checked out dog parks all over the city and this one contained the worst pet owners by far. Within a few minutes of arriving, we were warned about one regularly visiting dog being extremely aggressive (and of course he went after our puppy), and another dog jumped up and started tearing at my dog's leash so aggressively, and with their human standing back and laughing, until his (closed) silicone treat pouch was literally in pieces on the ground. The humans were misgendering my partner and me repeatedly, and bragging about getting away with drinking in the park. Dog fights erupted numerous times and the noise definitely violated Calgary dog bylaws. Very unsafe for our young pup. Very uncomfortable for us humans.
If you can go when it's empty of other dogs, I'd recommend it. Otherwise, steer clear.

Mag-locks to respect the neighbours, small area segregated for smaller/recovering dogs, clean-up bags, water fountain - this park is done right!!
High density neighbourhood might yield a few residents having challenges with noisy pooches - keep you dog under control & respect!
Very impressed - well done all around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a decent park frequented by respectful and friendly dog owners. It has a separate section for smaller dogs with a few trees scattered around but can get pretty muddy. Don't rely on poop bags always being stocked

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible little dog park in downtown. It's been a struggle to find a park close to home, we had a friend recommend this little joy to us. Not only was the park clean, fully fenced, secure and well set up, but the people paid close attention to the fur babies, their dogs were friendly, and well mannered. Now I realize it could change with one bad owner, but the open concept makes it easy to keep a close eye on your pet at all times. This is 100% going to be our new regular park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The small dog space is perfect for my pup but despite poop bags and bins provided at the entries, there is still almost always poop left in the park by owners who either do not care or haven’t been paying attention to their dog.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little dog park. Not too much parking. And there’s no grass for the dogs to play on (at least in the larger park) the fence is also very short. I feel like my little German shepherd puppy could honestly jump right over it haha. Overall, not too bad
