This building is not safe - cars get broken into frequently and there is drug usage in the stairwells. There is inconsistent to no hot water and only 1 elevator works some of the time. I am concerned for my safety and staff just laugh and say its the Beltline. If you care about your safety DONT MOVE HERE!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! If you want money stolen from you this is the place to live. I lived in this building for 3 years. The first two were fine and then Timbercreek Communities took over.. They did a terrible quick renovation on the building and suites and although it may look nice in pictures you can see all the little mistakes and fast patch jobs they made if you look closely. Adding; none of their workers are qualified so if you plan on asking a question Or try getting anything fixed expect no answer and nothing to come out of it for at least a month. Lastly, I was charged a fee for late rent due to them trying to take money out of an old account that had no money in it ultimately making it bounce back. I had told them multiple times and sent in multiple slips to show them I had a new account which was to be used and they still couldn’t properly input it into the system. Anyway, so long story short, I moved away in April and they STILL owe me $90 in NSF fees due to THEIR mistake which they have told me they cannot pay back. I will never choose to rent a unit through Timbercreek Communities again and I hope for your sake you won’t either!!

This building is in an awesome location with great renovations. However, the building is definitely not sound proof. Between large dogs barking that starts at 6-7 am most days to the banging and tapping of neighbors that starts at 8 am everyday, there is no time for sleep in this apartment. If you work shift work or wonky hours don't move here. You will not get a lot of quiet time, let alone sleep.

Really wish I could write a better review. Consistently under-delivers on promises. Seemingly endless repairs and renovations, yet still no consistent hot water for 4 months. The building manager's actual advice was 'run it for ten minutes first'. Additionally, they owe me around $300 which they promise 'will be credited next month'. We are about to cross the 5 month mark. They are working really hard to rent this place post-reno, and I'd suggest making this a lower-tier option if you want a dependable building with respectful management. Beyond that: decent suites, good soundproofing, some parking.

This apartment building is terribly managed. They recently rebranded from Tibercreek To Hazelview. Both terrible. They change employees more frequently than a new mother changes a diaper. Judging by the quality of their employees they don’t conduct any sort of interview to fill any of their positions. Kayla Tate is the current property manager, she seems completely incompetent and has never once offered an ounce of help when issues arise. Most recently I asked to rent the elevator (two weeks prior to the date required) she first told me it was illegal to give the elevator key when there is only one elevator, then when the second elevator opened back up the next day (after over two years of being closed by the way) she told me she didn’t have the elevator keys. Apparently two weeks isn’t enough time to obtain the keys but truly I just think she prefers not to be helpful. They lock the front doors at 7 pm so you cannot buzz anyone into the building including food delivery. When asked if this could be pushed back to a later hour I was told to order food deliveries earlier in the day. The heat has been broken in my apartment since 2018. Every winter I call the emergency line to have it fixed but they don’t want to re-coil the problem area so they just keep dropping off space heaters instead of fixing the issue. Of note, heat is included in the rent but of course electricity is not. Convenient if you ask me as to why they can’t figure out how to fix the heat. Last winter it was 13 degrees in my apartment for weeks. They have a leasing specialist (who when asked for anything else will tell you it’s not her job) but when I asked if there was an option to get out of my lease they advised I would have to find my own tenant that they approve. So apparently leasing isn’t her job either. Anyway, if you don’t already live here my advice would be to not bother because chances are you’ll need something during the duration of your lease you’ll be SOL. Keep in mind Hazelview has other properties they manage in the city so you can be disappointed with different scenery as well.

I have been living in this building for 7 months and have absolutely had it. Management is incompetent and does not reply half the time. They have double and triple charged for rent some months and it was an absolute fight to get it back. There are constant renovations going on and people in the building. The parkade has been broken into a few times living here including one time our bike lock was cut and bikes stolen. The apartment offered no solutions, they wouldn't even show us the video. The cheap rent isn't worth it, seriously consider living somewhere else

You know what, for all the flack that is given to this property I don’t think that enough attention is given to all the good that this property has to offer. Before I moved in and shortly after, the building was being managed by an individual who clearly didn’t know much about what they were doing nor did he care, hence some of the older more negative reviews. However, after a few months the building came under new management and she has really turned it around. She inherited what is very high maintenance group of properties but has done her best to make several really positive and critical changes. The renovated suites are quite nice, and the area is safe with access to really anything you may need. Having two options for secured parking was also a bonus. To top it off, as a pet owner it was awesome to also have a dog park directly behind the building. Covid made any common area living situations such as apartment complexes more difficult and frustrating because of inaccessibility to amenities. It’s worth acknowledging however that management did whatever they could to protect their residents at Premier place and to my knowledge there wasn’t a single outbreak within the building. If you live downtown in a metropolitan area your vehicle may get broken into, that’s just what happens. It’s no fault of the building and every break in was the result of a tenant letting someone into the building who didn’t live there. One issue that was commonly brought up was the water pressure. I encountered this but took my shower head off, cleaned it properly and it functions great. My one critique of Hazelview properties as a company is their seemingly complete lack of support from upper management and leadership to their building managers and maintenance staff.

Premier Place has a great property management team. One of the main reasons I moved here is because of the level of support and care the ream provided. Sophia was wonderful to work with and she made the process easy and comforting. The building also supported me with my move and were very accommodating as I had special requests. Overall, it was a great experience!
