Concept 76 Discount Window and Door Ltd.

We ordered several custom pre-hung doors from Discount Doors in August 2021. I very much wish that we had spent more money and gone with a reputable company. While Neil and Daniel are happy to answer emails in order to take your order, once it's been placed they drop off the face of the Earth. For 6 months we called and emailed to follow-up and got either no response at all, or a "we'll look into it" and then silence. They do not ever answer the phone or return phone calls when you leave a voicemail. Finally, at the 6 month mark, I threatened to file a dispute with the credit card company and write an online review and suddenly the doors were at my home within 3 days so who knows how long they had been ready before Neil got around to finding enough time in his day to do his job. The doors that showed up were not pre-hung, despite the extra 145$ we paid per door. Neil kindly explained to me that I just don't understand what pre-hung means and on reviewing the invoice, there is a section where it says final assembly on site so he may have a point but a quick google shows a pre-hung door is a door that shows up hung in a frame, not a door with a stack of jams, which is what I have. He told me he always clarifies this "so people aren't confused" which leads me to believe I'm not the first person to question his definition of pre-hung. Despite the fact that these guys wasted six months of our time and we made it clear that we weren't happy with the product, they offered no compensation and even went ahead and billed our credit card for the balance owing while we were still expressing dissatisfaction with the order. Neil is the type of business person who is happy to take your money but has no sense of responsibility to his customers. He only does his job when you threaten not to pay him. Take your business elsewhere, this place is a waste of time and money.

Stear clear from this company. I ordered doors in october 2021 with a 2-3 week lead time as posted on their website. Given the covid situation/delays with materials and wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, I didn't email until 8 weeks. Emailed to see if they had a timeline and was told "you'll know when I know". Very short and didn't care was the vibe I got. Gave it a couple more weeks and decided to check in and got no response. Around 14 weeks from purchase I tried inquiring as to what is going on and if I had to take legal action. Again no response. Week 16 I tried emailing, calling and even took a day off work to drive out to talk to them in person since I couldn't get in contact with them. I tried talking to what looked like one of the owners and he scurried inside. I went to go inside to see what was going on and the doors were locked. I called knowing that they were there and was hung up on. I had to make a td visa fraud claim to get my money back. I've been in the trades for 12 years and sourced many materials from many vendors and suppliers and never dealt with a company that was so unprofessional or classless. They typically respond to their good reviews but its radio silence on the bad reviews. They are a reflection of their lack of commitment and care to their customers. The reviews don't lie stay away from these guys if you don't want to deal with thieves. Its unfortunate that google can't give zero stars if I could give a zero star I would they earned it.

Daniel and his team are the best!! Thank you for making our doors custom made for our home. We have been renovating our new home and a friend recommended we talk with Daniel about anything to do with doors. Great service and everything was on time and cut perfectly to be installed

I had purchased about 15 doors from them almost a year ago in two orders. I get that Covid has slowed down the delivery of materials and delayed things but that was not the main reason for my issues. First the door jambs were only 1/2” making them flexible and hard to install. Different size hinges then we’re added to the doors for some reason and not even aligned properly in the frame. One of the doors ordered has the wrong swing from what was ordered. Etc etc For a door company making the types of fabrication mistakes should never happen.

I love doing business with Daniel from Concept76 Discount Windows and Doors because he always seem to have what I need in stock. As a small developer in the city of Toronto he always makes it much easier to buy from as he’s always available. With their online store option and large inventory selection I can search and view different options - which is totally convenient for me. Also pricing is very competitive. I’ve referred my friends to deal with Daniel directly when building their homes. Keep up the good work!

Let me just start off by saying, I had a great experience working with Daniel from Concept76. He helped me with my front entrance door by showing me all of the different options available. Colour, style and so on. He made it very easy for me to make up my mind on what I wanted. It's looks fantastic. I highly recommend them for all of your door needs. I just had this beauty installed by Concept76 Discount Window and Door. My wife and I absolutely love our new door. The quality is top notch, the installers were super clean and fast, the whole concept team were very helpful throughout this whole time of a pandemic. Manufacturing time took a lot longer than expected, but I do fully understand the reasoning behind it. Thanks again
