About Competitive Edge Sport Therapy
Steph works with mature and active adults who are sick of relying on pain killers and who want to get back to their active hobbies. Steph has been a competitive athlete and understands the role that being active plays in a healthy lifestyle.
Do you have difficulty lifting groceries? Carrying your child? Pain that limits general activities such as gardening or cleaning your house? Or a nagging sports injury?
If you’re frustrated that you haven’t felt understood in past treatments and have not been able to improve your quality of life Steph will work with you to understand why rest and medication is not the best solution - she will teach you how to manage and resolve your pain so that you can get back to doing what you love!
Steph grew up in Toronto and just recently moved to Calgary with her fiancé. Her approach is to work on improving the movement of the joint first and the muscles second and has a special interest in shoulder and knee injuries. Steph loves to educate and incorporate exercise into her treatment approach so that you can understand what the problem is and how to help yourself regain control of your life.

After only 3 sessions with Kristin (RMT), I was basically pain free. She not only treats the symptom, but the underlying cause, and sends you workouts and stretches to prevent the issue from recurring. Thank you Kristin!

I went to see Jill Purdy and she is absolutely amazing to have as my athletic therapist. I’ve had different levels of muscle (arm, back, wrist pains) and mobility problems and she just did an awesome job to get rid of those discomforting spots. I would highly recommend seeing Jill Purdy as she will provide you great exercises to do to get rid of those unpleasant tightness in the muscles!

Competition season was quickly approaching after he was allowed to remove his boot, and we had to get him back to dance as soon as possible. With Jill's help, not only did he get to return to the stage, but also received numerous awards! I would absolutely recommend Competitive Edge!
