★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far the best pawn shop on the island. I wouldn't recommend any pawn shop other than marks. He's also very understanding if you're late on buying something back. I was 3 months late on making a payment on guitar to get it through the next month. I though it's be gone, but nope, it was still there and safe. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Best customer service I've ever had.
Edit. Just tried island traders because marks was closed today. Never again. Only wanted 100$ for my laptop which Mark gives me 160$ for. And they couldn't even do that. So here I come to marks on Monday. Thank you mark for being the best pawn shop on the island

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great pawn shop, run by very sociable people! I got a great deal on a good bike with nothing wrong with it, and he even lent me a helmet to use until I could buy one elsewhere! They have a great selection of guitars, and the guy I spoke to knows his stuff and is very helpful and generous. Not a huge store, but definitely a place worth supporting if they have what you need!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a kind owner! Went in and had a conversation with him at the counter before having a look around, mentioned I was new to the area and would be here till spring... Found a small hiking backpack that had no price on it, and he gave it to me for free as a welcoming gift to Courtenay! Wow! Huge selection of guitars, lots of nice looking jewellery. Asked to see his multitools and knives and he explained that he usually only carries Leatherman brand multitools but also started accepting Gerber brand ones because of the quality, and that he won't accept anything that is no name brand or cheap. Such a kind and understanding guy and truely a refreshing experience compared to other pawn shops who will try to scam you. Will definitely be coming back.

They are understanding, kind and friendly. When you meet them there’s a really nice energy about them. I highly recommend this store.
