It is a 'private' SRO... That should speak for itself.

The Dark Side of Community Builders is there temporary homeless shelter called Metson shelter. This shelter is actually dangerous to stay in. The clients that stay there are not dangerous it is some of the staff and definitely the management. Beth Ann Dolan is the manager of the shelter. Obviously by the way she attempts to run the shelter she has never had any management positions or training. Most of the staff that work there try their best to help the tenants that stay there . I was a client at the shelter for a little over a month and during that month I stayed at the shelter I witnessed horrendous acts done too the clients. Beth Ann talks freely to her staff about other staff members and what and how she would handle those staff members. One time she was talking to her sheltor supervisor named Tracey and we overheard them talking about firing a staff member named Dave. She was telling Tracy the supervisor how Dave was mistreating clients and was verbally assaulting them. I can say the Dave never did that and Beth Ann firing him was completely wrong. There was another staff member that worked at the shelter by the name of Thomas. He was a great worker he did his job he was easy to talk to and he related to us in a way that made us feel as an equal. There was a couple of us standing around the corner from the main staff desk when we heard the supervisor Tracy speaking to Beth Ann about how much she dislike Thomas. Beth Ann told Tracey that she would make sure he never work another shift in the Metson shelter again. We never saw Thomas work at the shelter after Beth Ann and Tracey spoke. Beth Ann has also evicted people on the street who really needed help but did not know how to talk about what they were going through. There was a woman that was staying at the shelter and Beth Ann kicked her out 4 a little confrontation she had with another girl. What the Beth Ann did not realize because she would not let this girl talk and tell her the full story of what was going on with her. the girl that Beth Ann kicked out was pregnant and could not talk do any of the female staff because she felt that they were judging her. This girl had no place to go and it was cold outside. The girl ended up having a miscarriage. We talked with her and and comforter her. She told us that the doctor said that the miscarriage happened because of her living outside in the cold not eating properly and not having any sleep. before the miscarriage happened a lot of us were very upset in the shelter and tried to talk to staff and Beth Ann and all they said was no they can't come back. the only staff that listen and tried to help are all gone now. Rick Brian and Don we're the only staff that it had any clue on how to help us and how to treat us. Beth Ann treated us like we were low life scum. She did more harm then good. Tracy the supervisor even bought stuff from the clients and never ever paid for it. that is extremely cruel and unfair to do that. Don who I think it's fired has given clients money for bus fare to get to appointments. Brian who I heard got fired gave money two clients that we're moving out so they could put food in the cupboards at their new place. Rick used to buy client cigarettes before check day because no one had any smokes. IBeth Ann won't even let us store anything for new apartments that we are waiting to move into. I remember one time trying to have a conversation with Beth Ann and all she did during that conversation was talk down to me and make me feel like I was a piece of garbage. what she did not realize about myself is that I have mental health problems and when I finish talking with her I attempted suicide she put so much stress on me and made me feel like I did not belong to live in society. I could say a lot of things more bad about Beth Ann but there is no point. I am hoping that someone will read this and seriously find a manager that cares and respects people who have run into hard times and need help. the person they have their right now as a manager is very bad at helping people that are in need.
