I have previously come to Dixie Xray for ultrasounds, both times the technicians were pretty quiet and didn't explain much. Receptionists' moods differed with each phone call booking and encounter, sometimes they're really sweet, sometimes they have an attitude towards clients - maybe a bad day? Today I had an appointment for a bone scan and I was pretty nervous. To my surprise the Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Adeo Kagabo, was very friendly and reassuring. Adeo was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable for my bone scan. I normally don't write reviews, but felt the need to share my pleasant experience! I appreciated how Adeo took the time to explain everything, answer my questions, and promote therapeutic client-centered care. If only all health care providers showed this much professionalism and empathy!

I booked an appointment 2 days in advance for my mother for a x ray and mammogram. Came in that day, the lady in front asked if we had an appointment and we said yes and we gave her our requisition form as requested. She told us to just wait and she handed the form to the receptionist. My mom got the x ray done but not the mammogram so i asked why it wasn't done and they said that we didn't book one to be done... I told them we booked an appointment for it but instead of acknowledging it, here's what they said: YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD THE PERSON IN FRONT THAT YOU ALSO HAD A MAMMOGRAM! **apparently they have this system where you have to let the person in front who checks the temperature and screens for covid know that you have those procedures to be done and they will give you a "sticker" that labels what you will get. If not, better luck next time as appointments apparently doesn't even matter** The problem with this is that WE WERE NOT INFORMED OF THAT!! Nobody told us this was the process. AND EVEN WORSE!! A lady in the reception desk shifted the blame onto us with a very mean and condescending attitude (and loud) saying that we should have gotten the sticker and it's our fault that we didn't get the mammogram. But the thing is, do they not look at the requisition form?? It clearly states all the procedures that needed to be done. So why wasn't that picked up by them?? And what about the appointment?? There was clearly a misunderstanding but instead fixing it, they shifted the problem onto us saying things like "Now you know" after we told them nobody informed us of these things. Completely disrespectful and there's clearly a lack of compassion and empathy in this facility. This saddens me as a fellow health care professional, this is NOT how you want to present health care to the public. This place is not trustworthy, will not recommend anyone to come here.

Very bad service. This is my third time in that place and I think I will never go there again and I will warn all my friends. All was negative and bad experience. Their results also is not accurate, it was confirmed by many friends. I booked appointments a week before I arrived on time. Because of COVID they had a sight to wait till someone accompany you on the door. Even the lady in reception saw me. She keep answering phones and photocopy for 10 m. After she asked me to come in. And because my card number in the system had issue she asked for the number again. Cell reception was bad so I went upstairs to make a call. When I got back after 1 minute call only. She said the person who should make the ultrasound left. I believe she is telling lies as I did not see anyone out. That is really not ethical beside their unprofessional attitude.

Dixie X-ray - Vaughan Location My mother had found some hard lumps on your lower stomach (near her right hip) and lower back, hence that is why we went in for the ultrasound, we were concerned and wanted to have them checked out. I usually accompany my mom to her appointments, because she is elderly, and doesn't speak fluent English, but due to Covid 19, I could not go in with her and waited outside. During her appointment she politely (my mom is very soft spoken and shy) was trying to show/point/speak to indicate where these lumps are because the technician didn't seem to be scanning the correct spot. She wanted to make sure the technician was scanning the correct area, she wasn't in any way trying to tell him what to do, she was merely telling him a bit lower, or to the left or right. Who better to know where the problem resides than the patient. But instead of listening to her concerned, he yelled at her, he said, "Don't Talk", "I only scan where the form indicates". The form merely indicates a general area, a proximity (right hip, lower back), the patient knows their body and knows exactly where the issues are; I don't see anything wrong with trying to indicate where the issues are, to make sure the correct area is being scanned. I find it really upsetting that the technician showed such lack of respect and basic empathy to someone who is just trying to indicate where the issue resides, to yell at someone and tell them "Don't Talk", that's not just lack of customer service, but lack of any basic human empathy. No one goes to the doctor or goes for an ultrasound for fun, they go because they are sick or concerned about a health issue, they are nervous, they are scared; they have questions and they have the right to ask questions. My mom is very quiet and doesn't mention anything to me unless it is very upsetting. She felt really upset by this situation, he treated her like she wasn't worth his time, she was just an annoyance that he wanted to bush off quickly. I'm not sure if he was just having a bad day, or maybe he got annoyed because my mother is fluence in English, but whatever the case, there is no excuse for this type of behaviour, she was not asking for any special treatment, just for the basic courtesies and respect and everyone deserves. I wanted to bring this to your attention. Not sure if it will make a difference or go anywhere, but I figure I would try and hopefully prevent this from happening again.

Will not step a foot in this place ever again. Respect to patient and other people in general has no meaning here. To be more precise its all down to one employee (not all) which makes the place intolerable. Nov 3rd, 2021, My wife had to take my fragile senior mother for an X-Ray to this place. the lady behind the screen inside was so rude and disrespectful to a degree that even other patients in the clinic told her that she is being unreasonable, disrespectful and impolite. I did not immigrate from a third world country to continue to see this behaviour. This behaviour is not something that Canadians should see, this is not who Canadians are. I really hope a higher manager sees this post and take an action. Its not only Dixi loosing customers. it is the values that we need to respect.

I attended Dixie X-Ray in Vaughan for a nuclear cardiology test. At first, I noticed that the clinic was clean and all the safety regulations were met. The people at the front desk were very nice, but mostly I was impressed by the two technicians (Adeo and Francene) who were very caring and professional. Adeo was extremely polite and pleasant, and explained the procedure very clearly and thoroughly. I noticed that he had a very friendly demeanour with other patients as well. I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the staff at the clinic for their fantastic service. It is greatly appreciated and I would like to highly recommend this clinic to others.

This place appears to be too busy with little thought for the customers they serve. I called for an appointment on June 2nd and their voice mail message said to wait for the next available service representative. After waiting for 10 minutes listening to the same repetitive information a new voice message asked me to leave a message and someone would call me back. It is now 24 hrs since I left my message and to date no call back. In the interim I dropped by Thistlewood Diagnostic Associates on Islington Ave and within 1 hour I was able to schedule an appointment and be seen by a radiologist. Would never recommend this place to anyone.
