Over-β€˜hyped’. Their prices are high, the pasta and pizza were good but definitely not stunning, and their slice sizes are small for the price. Hours of operation are not good for evening to β€˜late-evening’, and there seems to be not much choice closer to the end of their business hours. I don’t appreciate making reservations and being turned away when I show up for my birthday reservation. I do think the atmosphere is alright. I do think the location could be much better, and that the prices could be greatly improved. Will support other restaurants who don’t turn away business. ??‍♂️

Came in for a quick bite and was blown away by the decor! Some seriously impressive wall carvings. Our 9inch pizza was delicious, surprisingly filling and topped heavily with shaved meat. Plus our server was lovely! We'd definitely return!

Worth it. Very delicious. We got Calamari fritti and breadsticks for starters. The bread was steaming hot when it was served to us. The calamari was light and good. Just not sure if ketchup is what Italians serve for the dipping sauce. Still, it was good. For the pasta we got Linguine al Vongole and Linguine Conca d’Oro. Their 1 serving of pasta can actually be shared for two persons. It was really delicious especially the Linguin al Vongole. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice too. This is the best Pasta or Italian restaurant I’ve been so far.

Going here for lunch was a great experience. The portions were huge and I ended up taking my pasta home. The pina colada was not as sweet as I would have liked but with how hot it was, I didn't mind. Evrrything taste delicious and fresh. The service was also wonderful. Our water was constantly refilled without having to ask and our waitress checked to make sure we enjoyed the food.I docked a point for just some insignificant things. We sat outside because tables inside had been reserved. However the insects outside were crazy. I agree they can't control insects but that made my visit slightly uncomfortable. Overall, I would definitely go again.

We hadn’t tried in 10 years. This was easily the best Italian gravy in Winnipeg aka red sauce. The chicken parm was amazing and the spaghetti with tomato sauce was amazing. The tortellini with Alfredo was soupy but amazing. The pasta with veggies and sausage was very oily and not the winner here. We are excited to return and try everything. Will update my review. Also calamari looks like onion rings. I prefer cute up and imperfect shapes and pieces. .

Solid local Italian restaurant on Corydon Avenue. With an outdoor patio. We went out on a Saturday night, packed place. Food was large portions. Friday sounds easier to make a reservation. No electronic reservation system, old fashion phone call to reserve. Have had meals here in the past, solid consistent food just not memorable. Lots of regulars love the owners and place.

I was told this place was really good so I finally got a chance to go check it out. The place looks really nice both inside and outside. The waitress was nice but, the food was too salty. I went with a friend and we thought the same thing, also it was kind of dry and lacked taste, I feel they just dropped a bunch of salt to β€œmake it taste good” without adding any other seasoning to it. We also had salad and that was the best part tbh pretty basic tho, lettuce, onion, cherry tomatoes and olives. I’m not sure I’m giving it another try because it’s not that expensive but it’s not cheap either. Portions were somewhat big so we had to take a box home.

Wow! Was told of this great place. It was our 43rd anniversary and I love Italian food. Loved the Christmas music and the waitress was awesome. My pasta was really good and my husband had chicken Parmesan with the side of spaghetti, his spaghetti noodles were sour, now I understand these are difficult times for restaurants, but keeping pasta that long, they did make fresh to replace but I noticed the sour smell as soon as I went to try a fork full. Makes me wonder, the cook should have smelt it too. Was looking forward to dessert that I heard they had the best, nope, didn’t make any . So not sure if I’ll try again, we don’t live in Winnipeg, so all around disappointing. Sorry
