This is the worse salon I have ever experienced in my life. Their staff yells at you and hangs up the phone so you are unable to speak an complain to the manager. Called several times and they kept on hanging up on me and telling me not to call back. I purchased one of the coupons for 4 treatments, and only incurred 2 of them. Was trying to book the remainder of the 2 and was yelled and snapped at by their staff member. They have the worse customer service. Save your money and do not go there!

New to this area in the summer of 2012, I had visited two different Salons in Newmarket but was not happy with either. I purchased a Groupon "deal" for Colors in Richmond Hill in Sept/Oct 2012 and prayed I would find a group of true professionals. My hair was blonde as a child and young adult, it darkened to light brown. For years I had visited salons and watched the work, and the outcome, of the technicians' work. When I found a true artist who understood the care requirements of my hair (many hair follicles but baby-fine). It was lightened a couple of shades to blond with highlights. No one trimmed my hair unless I had observed their work on similar hair. The owner/manager of the Richmond Hill location said that he knew exactly how to treat and color my hair. He convinced me that he was capable and repeated that he understood exactly what I wanted. When the color was rinsed off, the owner told the technician to massage and leave in a potent conditioner. When I was led to the technician's chair, imagine my shock when my entire head of hair was colored a deep, dark brunette! I immediately told both the technician and the owner that a terrible mistake was made. The owner showed me a photo of a blond with highlights and promised that I would look the same when finished. I did not! Many sections of my hair were then bleached from the dark brunette to a blond color. Then more sections were bleached and my hair was cut in the style I indicated but much shorter than I asked for. A layered trim was needed & I did receive a layered style much shorter than I had indicated or had before. I was told that my hair was fine and colored and purchased several hair products. The cost of the color, cut and products was around $500.00. When I looked in the mirror, I saw a brunette with blond highlights. I made an appointment for additional highlights and prayed that my hair would grow quickly. I went on a planned trip to Florida and returned in January 2013. Every few weeks while I was in Florida, I received calls from the technician to remind me that it was time for my "touch-up"! I explained that I was in Florida but the calls continued. My hair was badly damaged and hand fulls of hair were lost with each wash. I was terrified and switched to small rollers from a curling iron. I returned to Canada but not to Colors. It was more than a year and a half before I found a technician who actually did know what she was doing but for that year, no one touched my increasingly thinning hair. My scalp was visible in too many places. The new technician I visited every 8-10 weeks because my hair was so damaged. It is now June 23rd, 2015 and after daily applications of Women's Rogaine 5% ($100.00/month from a pharmacist), many expensive hair treatments as well as occasional gentle coloring, highlights and handling from my new technician, my hair is thinner but my scalp is barely visible at the front and, for the most part, my hair is healthy again. Unless you want to go through the significant distress and take the real chance that your damaged hair may not return to its original state, stay well and far away from Colors, at least at this location in Richmond Hill. If I had not gone to the US for months when this nightmare began, I would not have hesitated to sue the owner/manager and the technician at this location of Colors. That was my experience. I saw other technicians whose clients appeared to have healthy hair but then I was only at that salon twice. Please, look elsewhere and visit a new salon a few times before you let anyone whom you do not know convince you of their expertise. We have all heard, "I know exactly what you want!" and we have left in tears. Mine was an extreme case of ineptness and straight-up lies but do NOT take the chance. It was a very long and expensive three years and I am again proud of my hair. The price I paid though was in no way worth the experience.

This was my first time at this salon and I loved it. ? Amir is very professional guy and provides unparalleled customer service. I was really impressed! I got one of the greatest haircuts ever with fair price. It was quick and what I wanted. The salon was clean as well. I'll be going back for sure! Definently recommended ??

Vesna colored my hair and it turned out great! I had colored and highlighted my hair before the quarantine, so you can imagine the messy color on my head. I planned to color and do highlights when I came, but Vesna suggested we try coloring first, if it turns out to blend in well with my previous color, then we don't have to do highlights. It turns out the color was great and I didn't do highlight. So, I'm glad that I saved some $ and felt pretty after! She wasn't pushy at all and gave good suggestions. In terms of Covid, I felt safe overall. I had to use hand sanitizer and got my temperature checked as soon as I got in. After my service was done, they sanitized everything I used.

Love my cut and colour. The first pic is the most recent and the second is from my 2nd visit. This is my 3rd appointment with Angelo. I've seen a huge improvement in my hair texture and reduction in hair fall since following his recommendations. The chemicals and treatment are gentle and perfect for the health of my hair and skin. He is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to colour choices and cuts that frame and suit your face - truly a hair guru! Highly recommend their salon, services and products!! And the cappuccino is amazing ♥️? Thank you!!!!!

First time customer and I Haven’t had a proper hair cut in a long time. Vesna did an outstanding job. She was very sweet. Super relaxing environment. Definitely recommend going back for highlights soon❤️

First time here and Heidi was AMAZING. Professional, sweet and so understanding and attentive to what I was looking for. I used to have a bob cut and obviously had it grow out through quarantine. I don't have alot of hair to play with but she managed to tune my dull dead hair into this amazing cut. She suggested highlights and they turned out AMAZING. I'll be back to see her for sure.

Vesna was amazing!!! I'm so happy with the way she coloured my hair & cut it. I've been to many salons and am happy to say that I think I found one to stick with. She was not pushy at all and gave recommendations on protecting the hair & how to care for it. The entire staff environment is amazing and clean. I'll definitely be coming back - thank you tons Vesna :)
