Color Me Mine - Calgary

Great place for families. They have a good variety of items to paint as well as lots of seasonal options. Friendly helpful staff makes the experience that much more enjoyable given we are not a very artistic family.

Me and my boyfriend did this as a date and it was so much fun! Be weary it is a little expensive but it's totally worth it. Takes about a week for your pieces to be fired for you to pick up.

Too expensive Website said price range from $17 - 25 However when we went to the shop, every pieces are $38 and up. (My piece is just a cup and it cost $38.) Not good for the kid (under 5), the owner like kinda rushing us to finish the piece, not relaxing at all. They said allowed us 2 hours, but by his pushing, we done by within an hour. Waste my money to go.

My daughter and I recently came here to create a surprise gift for Mom and we had a amazing Daddy daughter afternoon together at Color Me Mine. I cant begin to speak more highly about the staff here, they were kind courteous, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. My daughter wants to go back again.

recently took my BF's daughter here to use the gift card she got at christmas time. the ceramic items are beyond overpriced, especially when most kids are just gonna slather a coat on and be done in 45 minutes, half the paints seemed watered down when pouring them onto the tiny palettes, and every brush we grabbed was in very rough condition. i got the call to pick our items up a week later, only to find that not a single one of my colors chosen looked how it should based off the wall display (only one was even close), and the watery colors when i poured looked like water color, at best, on the vase, the brushes left so many brush stroke marks despite all the effort put in to have that not happen too. His daughters looks ok, but she is 8, so not like she really cares if it's how she planned or not. Honestly, a really expensive, and disappointing experience. I've been to other ceramic places (not a color me mine) that I'll definitely give my money to next time.

I love coming here. The employees are so helpful and attentive. Their selection of ceramic pieces are awesome. It was a well spent time unwinding. Overall, it was a great experience. I would definitely return!

Me and my boyfriend went here for my birthday recently and while there the man who was working was fine to begin with but after about an hour of us being there he stopped coming to change our water. for the next 3 hours that we were there we had the same dirty brown water and the brown water colour started to get onto our pieces as we were working on them. We had run out of time that day so we ended up coming back a few days later to finish our pieces and again our water was only changed once, when for that first hour we were there prior he had changed the water about five times before ignoring us. instead he just sat at the desk on his laptop the whole time. then just today I went to go pick up our pieces and when checking mine over I noticed a rather large chip in it. when I mentioned it was chipped the very first thing that came out of the mans mouth was "well I didn't hit it on anything." which for itself is pretty telling that he did in fact hit it on something. he then tried blaming the chip on me not painting the pottery properly and saying I must of missed a spot which isn't true because you can clearly feel a chunk is missing from where its chipped. I will probably not be ever returning to color me mine because after spending that much money on a pottery piece and then spending over 8 hours on painting it I would expect the staff to actually take care of the pieces and have more consideration to the customers and less of an attitude at that as well. TLDR: poor customer service, over priced, and after over 8 hours of painting the staff chipped my piece and blamed it on me.

We had my daughter’s bday last week and it was awesome! Everything was organized and prepared before we arrived! The kids had so much fun along with the adults. Everyone got the help they needed right away! The owner and the assistant did an amazing job!! The ceramics came out beautiful. Attached my daughter’s seahorse Thanks again
