About Ceramics Canada
History
Ceramics Canada has been serving the clay industry and the ceramic arts community in Southern Alberta since 1973.
Since inception, the company has been owned and operated by people who are themselves potters. For much of its history the company maintained production pottery operations and offered pottery classes. This tradition of involvement is maintained even today. All of the staff at Ceramics Canada are either ceramic artists or potters themselves, but also have experience and backgrounds in a wide range of related arts. This allows us to maintain a broad knowledge base across our entire product line to serve our customers better. We are familiar with the performance and use of the equipment and products that we carry from our collective experience.
Our goal is to serve the clay industry and the ceramic arts community better than anyone. We maintain an in stock inventory representing as wide a range of products and equipment as possible in our 4000 square foot warehouse and retail facility.What you require is available when you need it at a competitive price and with the minimum of delay.
At Ceramics Canada we also take great pride in knowing that our customers are our friends, and that when they come to shop, they will have unparalleled, confident service, and more than likely, a good laugh!

They have everything, and carry only the tools that matter. I find the staff totally knowledgeable and willing to take the time to share their wisdom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife had called and had CC put aside two glazes. As I work closer to the store, and getting the glazes was time sensitive, I offered to leave work early. Due to traffic I felt my arrival would be close to 5 pm, their advertised closing time. Nobody answer when I phoned at 4:45 pm but I still left a message stating my phone number and that I would be there by 5 pm. On arrival at 4:55 pm, verified by my i phone and wrist watch the place was dark and the door locked. I knocked on the door a few times and no one answered. Left another message upon leaving. All day the next day no one phoned me to help me understand what may have gone wrong and was told the owner stated he was there at 5 pm. Not possible. Very disappointed with the service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2nd Review. Edit to my own review, they really treated me well this second visit. They were so nice I feel like buying stuff from them that I don't even need. I'd suggest go there. They are great.
1st Review. It's got stuff for making pottery. I was happy to find stuff for our kiln. Small mom and pop operation. A good option, and there are not many options I don't think.

Mike, Sara, Ashley, and Jacquie are ready to help with ceramic conundrums, brainstorm solutions for problems, offer carry-out every single time, and they are a joy. They offer a large variety of clays, the entire Mayco line of glazes 06 & 6, tools, kiln supplies, larger tools, and if they don't have it, they'll order it. I've never had a disappointing experience in the 6+ years as a customer. I've also never had a friend come back disappointed after being referred. Thanks Ceramics Canada!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this store, don't know what I would do without it. I am sure a lot of potters in the area rely solely on this store for clay alone. They just have a great selection of stuff, and are so helpful with any questions I have regarding ceramics. I bought my very first wheel here and they were so helpful with all my Kiln and firing questions. I just love it here. I do wish they had later hours on weekdays so I could go after work, but I understand it is a local buisness and a small one. I do appreciate it though, I'm dying here just waiting for them to open because they're closed for the holidays haha. I recommend anyone that wants to try ceramics or look around at different clays to go here, I recommend it to everyone. I've spent so much money there already but its worth every cent.
