★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite spot on the Gulf Islands for watching whales from shore. Ive spotted Orcas, Biggs, and Humpback whales all while sitting there in the amazing Gerry Oak coastal bluffs. Great birdwatching at this spot. Easy hike in from either Galiano Island Cemetery or the Mount Galiano parking lot. Great sun year round. Can get really hot and Mediterranean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Takes about 45 minutes to reach the sunny grassy point. Shady most of the trail with peekaboo views. No water access. Sharp drop offs. Some steep sections. No facilities. Stop half way and nice view of Mayne and Prevost. Good workout. Saw a deer. Interesting conglomerate boulders.
