★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The dearly couple that runs College Falafel and has been in business for many and many year deserve a rating of their own! Now the food: it’s just amaaazing and the quality of the ingredients make such a difference. I’m a fan of the chicken shawarma plate and the chicken they supply can not compare to any other shawarma place, there’s no fat, no tendons, just super! I have also tried to imitate their curried potatoes but I can’t, it’s some serious family recipe. The pickled veggies are also superb! I have moved from the neighbourhood but make sure to order it often because it’s delicious, and they deserve over 5 stars! Lastly, their baklavas are next level too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This husband and wife duo are absolutely wonderful people making healthy, hearty home cooked middle Eastern food from scratch. Quite literally, they even grow their own herbs. Nothing comes even close to their flavours and to compare them with an Ali Baba's or the like would be an insult. On top of that they are great people who live in their community and cherish their customers and treat them like family. Also, great portions! A must try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered on DoorDash for the first time. Your chicken shawarma plate is $20, but honestly was some of the smallest portions I’ve had. Most places nearby or in the city give you way more food for less. Also might want to mention you use curry in your sauce.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have lived in east cost in the past and loved their donair. Never found a good one until I come here. The donair was so tasty and good. All the ingredients were great and so good. Thank you for make me feel back in east cost. I would definitely come back for sure. And the service were great and super polite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Man oh man! This is by far some of the best middle eastern food I’ve ever eaten and I’ve tried lots in my day. The food was extremely fresh and left me feeling satisfied. The baklava was sweet and succulent and was the best I’ve ever had anywhere before. The only downside was the amount of meat on the plates we ordered wasn’t that much but that’s probably a good thing for my health, haha. Will be back and recommend to others.

Friendly owners! Pictured here is the Donaire plate 'with everything,' the chicken shawarma with sweet donair sauce and the rice pudding! That Nicklebrook root beer they stock is also incredible.
