The staff here are friendly. The shop does great work. The owner, Jim is very knowledgeable, helpful and trustworthy.... I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone.

Came in for a quick truck service, an hour’s worth of labour. Mechanic was amazing. The business owner on the other hand, not so much. Absolutely unprofessional, definitely overpriced.

I had recently called for a winter tire change along with rims. I asked about the cost and the guy said it's $200ish + tax. As the price is double of what is being charged in the area, I said "The price is a bit on the higher end, can we negotiate for a lower price?". The guy says, "No that's the final price" *Hangs up the phone* He didn't even let me respond or give a benefit of doubt that I might agree to the price, he judged the tone and ended the call. I couldn't believe, because I have never in my 4 years of living in Canada, have experienced anything like that. End of the day, I'm glad that the vast majority of Canadians are extremely friendly and welcoming.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This place has caused me incredible stress, as someone who was a visitor from out of town thinking this place would be good. I couldn't have been more wrong - I honestly left this place in tears. First and foremost Jim Colalillo attempted to charge me almost $1000 for doing absolutely nothing to my car. My car was sent there by a tow truck after an accident, and Jim offered to take "a quick look" at the car to let me know if it would be expensive or not. He did not inform me that he would do a formal inspection, nor did he give me an estimate of the cost of inspection and labor. He framed it to be a casual look with no strings attached. After my insurance fell through, he later decided to back charge me for storage fees that he never mentioned before, and charge me for the inspection that I never authorized nor was I given an estimate for. This violated the Consumer Protection Act on so many levels, and I encourage everyone to be vigilant and know your rights. When I tried to discuss my issues with Jim, I was met with verbal abuse and he screamed and hung up on me on two separate phone calls. When I arrived to finally take my car, he refused to return my vehicle to me. He even went as far as to lie about what was said and claim that I was threatening his safety. He began to scream at me and threatened to call the police on me several times with his phone out ready to dial 911. As a Black girl visiting from California, this was INCREDIBLY traumatizing as we all can understand the current climate and potential for detrimental impacts when people intentionally call the police on Black folks to threaten their safety. This was hands down the most traumatic experience I have had with a business, and I will NEVER be returning. For those of you looking for a shop, please refer to the dozens of negative reviews for this place on here as well as Yelp, and do not go here. I wish I never had. Also, please refer to these pictures of the owner, completely disregarding COVID-19 safety particularly during this time in Ontario as cases have been surging. He continued to keep pulling down his mask while screaming at us.

We have been a customer for many years and appreciate the excellent quality of service we receive for our vehicle repairs and maintenance. I have been going to Colalillo for almost 20 years. My whole family brings their vehicles there actually. Jim and his staff are beyond amazing! Our vehicles are fixed in a timely manner, and Jim is always helpful every step of the way. He is the type of mechanic that will tell you what issue(s) need to be addressed immediately, and which ones can wait a bit. It's very hard to find an honest mechanic these days and Jim and his staff do an outstanding job at keeping their clients happy and coming back. Keep up the good work guys!

Jim, Sue, The whole team, just amazing! From customer service to quality, these guys are 5 out of 5! I have been going here for almost 20 years. For a bit I switched to a dealership because it was more convenient for me at the time, it was a mistake I promise you! This shop has a waiting area, with huge windows facing the service bays, these guys are the most honest and respectable you will ever have the pleasure of dealing with.

I came in this shop looking for new winter tires in late December of 2021. I asked Jim to store my all season tires after they install the new Continental winter tires that I baught from them. My all seasons that I had were in great condition (80%+ tread on them). Once I picked up my truck I didn’t object to why my all season tires where not in my truck because I asked Jim to store them. Now in spring of 2022 I show up to my appointment and they tell me that they don’t have me tires and that I need to buy new ones from them. What this company did to me is criminal. They will not take any responsibility to there misdoing. This company is not to be trusted.
