Not the greatest experience would not recommend to people not familiar with construction. Easy to start job but finishing been a headache borderlining extreme unprofessionalism. I had a house heating system bursting over christmas flooding most of the house. This establishment has been recommended by insurance company. Initial communication was great. Fast response and emergency services were completed promtly. Restoration however was ok at first and then been plagued by constant delays and unprofessional behavior. Was promised 5/6 week completion time in words only. Nothing firm on paper. 6 weeks passed and project was only half done. Until i started doing visits, taking time off work to visit site and writing emails to insurance every other day progress was going at snail pace. Basically i had to supervise project details and emailing their project supervisors and insurance agents thus perfoming job that Paul Davis has undertaken. In the process kitchen cabinets were slightly damaged, front door broken. It has been 3 months since they started and few items are still not done and i had to clean up after their subcontractors and supervise job deficiencies repeteadly while taking time off my own projects. They are paid inflated rates for their jobs and frankly i dont understand why do i have to do their jobs for them at my own time... subdivision quality restoration and service

The company did a basement clean up after my basement flooded with sewer water back in February. They sent a large team and did a thorough clean up job. I was impressed. However, the job was never finished. Boxes of items that were contaminated with category 3 sewage were left in my garage (it's now May). The project manager never sent me a list of the listed items and said he normally sends directly to the insurance company. After a number of emails to the project manager, with no response, my insurance company had to do a follow up to Paul Davis. Turns out the project manager was no longer employed with Paul Davis (why no auto response to email set up?). When I asked them about the damaged items in the garage they said the crew didn't deem them to be damaged and didn't offer to remove the items even though a bag was dated and wrote "listed" on it. Some of the children's items had sewer water damage. I know things happen, with staff transitions, but I would have appreciated them to at least send someone to check out the items and have them categorized and removed. Disappointing because my wife and I did hours of work ourselves when my insurance company already paid them to do the work. Update: It is now Feb 24th, 2021. Coreen found our file on Oct 28th 2020. I've followed up on Nov 11, 2020 and still haven't heard back. I think they realize our file was messed up big time. I just wished they acknowledged and apologized for the errors they made.

Paul Davis West GTA was a 10 out of 10 every step of the way when we had a plumbing leak that resulted in water running into the ceiling and walls of a downstairs bathroom. Every person we dealt with was courteous, on time, and competent - they cared.. Ray the Project Manager kept us informed of the next steps in the process and checked in regularly on how it was going from our perspective. There was more to be done then we would have imagined - from drying and mold mitigation through to the repairs and then the finishing work to restore things. The whole experience could not have been better. Thank you!
