They were very helpful with explaining to me what kind of bindings would go best with this type of board and the end result looks great! Can't wait for winter to come!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dan was super helpful in finding me the right snowboard boots. He talked me into downsizing, and I am SO glad that I did, because once they started to wear in, they became a really great fit - anything bigger would have been an issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place with great service! Chris helped me out with some new bearings for my longboard. He showed me which ones were the best deal and even installed them for me. I highly recommend this store for any of your outdoor sporting needs!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spoke with Chris and his wife - they spoke to me in a very disrespectful manner during my time there when I was trying to price match a certain product. Chris mentioned that the product I was trying to price match was "a year old" and could not be used to price match the item. However, he could not prove that it was a year old, and was not allowing me to price match the item. The items were identical and had the same name from the website as on the tag of the pants. This goes against the company's value of "honoring the price match policy" which was worse because Chris could not even prove that the item was a year older. I then proceeded to show him a receipt on my phone for a refund, but he looked at me and said "I need the actual receipt dude, do you now know how computers work?" To top it off, I asked his wife for help with snowboards. She looked at me and said "I can't help you with that at all, but once someone's free they'll come over to you" in a very rude manner. It was one of the most terrible customer service experiences I have had during snowboard shopping. Don't get me wrong - other staff were very nice an pleasant to deal with, it's just Chris and his wife that were terribly rude. Check out other snowboard stores such as Pacific Boarder in Vancouver - I promise you that you will walk out happier from there than you would at Coastal Riders.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never been snowboarding before, I went on boxing day when it was super busy but despite the amount of people in there I was lucky enough to have the owner himself find everything I was looking for, he made sure he fully explained everything about each product and it's competitors. As well as give me snowboarding advice, all in a super friendly, patient, and constructive way regardless of the fact I knew nothing about boarding. Truly the best costumer service I've ever experienced, that includes the restaurants I've been too. Highly recommend this store for anyone looking, you will not regret it in the slightest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in on Boxing Day and was super busy so hard to get some help but once they got around was very insightful. Went back the next day and was great again. Good pricing and selection. Got my skis ready in no time. Usually the workers are great never been not happy leaving there.
