Anglos beware! The woman at the main reception was great, but the minute you have to deal with the registration area or the doctors assistants, good luck. No manners, and no skills to deal with people in a service environment. Tried calling in a request to see my Doctor and they were equally unhelpful on the phone, just saying that my family doctor (recently assigned after a 12 year wait) had NO availability. They offered to leave a message for her and I attempted, but they kept demanding personal doctor client only details that I did not care to share with this RUDE receptionist (male who spoke french only). Regrettably, I will now have to go to a paid out of pocket service in Ottawa in order to have my problem addressed. If Health Care were private in Canada, this place would-be out of business. Shame on you.

I’ve been to many CLSC throughout the years and the Aylmer one HANDS DOWN wins the award for the worst customer service. I’m 20 wks pregnant and I’ve had to go 4 times in the past weeks and each time was worst then the other. Brigitte in the front desk has NO MANNERS WHAT SO EVER. They have no respect for their patients and they are very rude. I should’ve listened to everyone who told me to go elsewhere. I will file a formal specific complaint against Brigitte.

My wife and I went in to the Aylmer CLSC for blood work this morning. Prior to going, we tried getting information online - e.g. Hours of Operation, Procedures, etc. Unfortunately, our online search provided us with little information. But we did stumble upon Ratings and Comments from previous CLSC clients. Most of which were quite negative and critical. So our visit this morning - our first - was made with lots of apprehension. But much to our surprise, we found the operation to be thoroughly efficient - from beginning to end. On arrival, we were greeted politely and professionally. Our requisitions were entered quickly, with directions clearly stated. Though there were at least 15-20 other people ahead of us in the waiting room, our turn came quickly. No more than 15 minutes. The technicians drawing blood were both very courteous, professional and efficient. And quick. From start to finish, our visit lasted no more than 45 minutes. We could not have asked for better service. (The website - if it can be called that - is in serious need of attention!)

Assigned to a doctor after a 10 year wait. After no confirmation from CLSC, called and left several messages over a two month period. Still no call back. Went to CLSC to make an appointment with my new doctor. They lost the paperwork. After some searching, they were able to identify me and made me an appointment... in 3.5 months time. So it took 8 months to see my doctor for the first time. She's great. Dr. Lawerence Nguyen. Saw her two weeks ago. Antibiotics didn't help my 10-month flu (not kidding) so need to see her again. Called but was put on hold for 30 mins then they hung up. Will go visit tomorrow. Service worse than even Bell tech support. Update: Just so you all understand, the service at CLSC for getting blood work is fantastic, which is why you see mixed reviews for CLSC as a whole. The main complaint here is with the reception of the clinic side, not the blood work side. People really should be fired. How is management not doing anything about it???? They must see the reviews.

Got my rehab and bandages changed for 12 weeks at that place. It was a very understanding staff and if they don't appear friendly at first, they're over worked and i can understand that. Very competent nurses work there and they do try their best. YES it could be better but since we don't pay through the nose like in the states lets be more patient towards these hard working people.

Terrible service, they do nothing but try to transfer you to someone else. Aylmer needs a real CLSC that wants to help the citizens of Aylmer.

Always there early and alway have to wait half an hour to an hour passed my scheduled time to see the doctor. When I saw the doctor I sat in an observation room while my doctor googled my symptoms. Never leave the doctor's office happy or feel like it was a good use of my time.
