P	Peter Brown on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've taken Gunner my cocker spaniel their for years. He loves it. Every time we go he gets so excited he runs in and wants to jump right on the table. They are the best I don't live in BC anymore but even when we visit and bring Gunner we always pop in for a visit.

However last time my usual request for a “round” face was totally disregarded. She looked like a schnauzer and all her hair was different lengths and poorly cut. They laughed when I expressed my disappointment. She also had a small cut near her eye. It has taken almost three months for her to begin to look normal. Very disappointed and won’t be returning.
D	Danielle Gravelle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a horrible place! They cut my puppy toy poodle tongue with scissors and didn't even apologize! They then proceeded to blame my puppy for constantly trying to sit while being groomed and for trying to lick them! - she's was a puppy for God's sake! Do not take your pets there unless you want to risk permanently traumatizing them! I should have listened to my instincts and cancelled the appointment when I met them. I watched the woman, she does not even look at what she is doing half the time while scissoring. They also still wanted to get paid afterwards. They were also rude and short on the phone while making the appointment. I have heard other people say that they rush you out of the shop after your done paying it's ALL about the $$$ with them/how many animals they can get through in the day and not about love and compassion for animals. PS I am also a certified dog groomer.
R	Rafael Baillie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They do a good job cutting the hair on my Bichon Frise mix Poodle, but they are absolutely terrible at answering the phone. They only take cash, and will raise the price unexpectedly on a customer after 3 years of service! Overall, they do a good job grooming your dog and will call you once they are finished however, good luck getting-a-hold of them to get an appointment! Update 24 hours later: So, this morning I get a surprise phone call from the daughter of the owner. Apparently, they will no longer take my dog: "because of that review. I can read too, you know" well, I sure hope so! My original review was 3 stars, you can read it above. Also during the phone call, she accused me of saying that she couldn't groom my dog properly, which you can see is not true. Normally when a business gets a review that is not great, they work to improve it, not kick the customers out. However, instead of asking how they can improve, they play the part of the victim and try to "dispose" of the problem. I only gave 3 stars, it could have been worse! Also, a proper business who wants to attract new customers will allow different methods of payment, but these guys don't. Why do you think that is, other than low banking fees? To say the least, they tried, but let their ego take the lead. I would still recommend this place if you want a good groom for your dog, but don't recommend them because they are impossible to deal with. Very sorry they took this route and lost a customer.

My Standard poodle (Tucker) absolutely LOVES going there and just can't wait to get inside when I drop him off lol. He's a big high energy boy and with all that curly hair and puppy energy, I don't know how she manages to make him look like he sat still the whole time! My aging shih tzu (Gizmo) has lots of old man bumps and lumps and she is super careful with him and makes him look amazing. Been to many other groomers in the past and never had the service or love for my pups that they get here :)
T	Tralea Fitzgerald on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a certified groomer and ex-proprietor of my own grooming salon (many years ago), I am very fussy about who I hand my dog, Teddy, over to. Due to dexterity issues, I am no longer able to groom him myself. In the past, I have asked the few groomers I have entrusted, to not do his nails as he is falls asleep when I use an electric file on him and did not want this altered. I am no longer able to use nail cutters and his were atrocious, as I had not been diligent in e-filing them. For the first time I asked that they do his nails also. I found the ladies at Clip Joint very friendly and attentive to all of my requests. Teddy, like so many dogs in my experience, was very anxious upon arrival; however, upon picking him up he was relaxed & calm. Dianne did a marvelous job and fulfilled all of my requests to a "T". This was my first visit and we are now moving from Cranbrook, otherwise I would definitely be retaining Clip Joint as my "go to" groomers.
