Ça fait plusieurs fois que j'appelle pour la clinique d'urgence , la dame me dit bonjour un instant ou au milieu de l'appel elle me met en attente mais se trompe et raccroche... Donc je dois rappeller et je suis tout en bas de la liste ce qui fait que la majorité du temps je n'ai jamais de rendez vous. ...et quand j'explique la situate à la femme à l'accueil elle me dit que ca peut arriver et qu'ils ne peuvent rien faire... Je suis supposée avoir un rendez vous de suivie pour un problème de santé depuis plusieurs mois avec mon médecin aucune disponibilités depuis plus de 3 mois et ils ne peuvent pas me donner de date a venir ...
It's been several times that I call for the emergency clinic, the lady says hello to me for a moment or in the middle of the call she puts me on hold but makes a mistake and hangs up... So I have to call back and I'm all bottom of the list which means that most of the time I never have an appointment. ...and when I explain the situation to the woman at the reception she tells me that it can happen and that there is nothing they can do... I am supposed to have a follow-up appointment for a health problem since several months with my doctor no availability for more than 3 months and they can't give me a date to come...

Je n'ai pas de médecin de famille et j'ai pu avoir un RV rapidement à l'urgence de la clinique et ce à 2 reprises depuis trois semaines. Juste de savoir que cette possibilité existe maintenant pour moi, c'est un énorme soulagement. C'est fou comment le fait d'être orphelin peut nous causer de l'anxiété. Je remercie la clinique pour cette innovation et je croise les doigts pour que vous conserviez cette option, actuellement temporaire, de façon définitive. Le gouvernement devrait d'ailleurs s'inspirer de vous avec le tri téléphonique qui précède la visite. Merci encore de tout cœur.
I don't have a family doctor and I was able to get an appointment quickly in the clinic's emergency room twice in the past three weeks. Just to know that this possibility now exists for me is a huge relief. It's crazy how being an orphan can cause us anxiety. I thank the clinic for this innovation and I cross my fingers that you keep this option, currently temporary, permanently. The government should also take inspiration from you with the telephone triage that precedes the visit. Thank you again with all my heart.

Telephone services are horrible, could be waiting for hours or get hung up on while waiting.

Secretary staff is rude and stuck up doctors there don't do anything for you. I get better service on the waiting list than with a family doctor at this sorry clinic

Bonjour, Ten (about) years ago when there were less than 10 doctors associated with the CJC/Clinique Vimy, there was 1 doctor available in Clinique d'urgence. Now with >25 doctors attached with the CJC there is still only 1 doctor available at clinique d'urgence (catering to the patients associated with all the doctors). I call at 8.00.00 (h:m:s), or 9.30.00 to get an appointment at the Clinique d'urgence. After 20 minutes of waiting, I get the message 'si vous entendez ce message...'. We can assume that there are 20 slots between 10.00 and 15.00h, 15 min each (on holidays, and 40-50 slots on other days). The secretary needs 60-90 seconds to get the details from each call - health problem, name of the family doctor, name of the patient, date of birth,etc. Therefore it is not possible that the 20 slots are filled within 20 min i.e. 9.30-9.50 on a sunday! It is equally difficult to get a regular appointment with the family doctor within a reasonable delay. The telephone service is very bad. It is 3 days that I am trying to consult a doctor for my son, nothing very urgent that I have to go to the Emergency at the hospital, but a consultation is required. I really do not know what the solution is. I will not even give 1 star to the Clinique d'urgence.

I've been going to this clinic for a couple of years now. It can be difficult to get an appointment by phone; thus, having to go in person numerous times to make an appointment. I would never receive a phone call to remind me of an appointment either. If you have an appointment be prepared to wait 45 minutes to an hour in the waiting room. You will feel like you are being rushed during your appointments; thus, you will not feel comfortable there. It's in and out asap! You will spend an hour pass your appointment time only to spend 15, 20 minutes in the medical office, when it should be the other way around, a 20 minute wait and an hour in the office. They also have a very cold bedside mannerism with their patients as well. I also noticed throughout the years that there are a lot of elderly people who go there. It doesn't seem to attract a younger crowd. The secretaries can be rude. During lunch hour all the secretaries go on break and there is only one present to fill in for them, who will just tell you to come back or call back after lunch. Their website is in French only, which gives the impression that Anglophones are not appreciated or welcomed there. A nurse I had would not give me services in English either. Also the nursing services are a joke compared to other clinics. You will not get the impression that the nurses are real qualified nurses, but more along the lines of secretaries. The medical staff, both doctors and nurses, are talkers and not doers. Be prepared to be spoken too rather than being provided proper medical care such as exams, procedures, tests, etc. If you are lucky they will take your temperature, weight and blood pressure, and sometimes not even that. Then you're out, next! From my experience they will spend the majority of the visit asking questions and preaching about diet and exercise. The overall layout and feel of the clinic is not an intimate one but rather cold, like a hospital. The medical offices are located way too close to the waiting rooms; hence, not much of a feeling of the privacy one would expect to have within a private clinic. Out of all due respect, from my own experience being a patient at another private clinic in the past, this clinic is the worst healthcare I have ever received in my life! The difference was night and day in professionalism. I've received much better care at hospital ER's than here. A CLSC will provide you with grade A medical care in comparison to this place! You've been warned! If you want basic medical problems that can be properly diagnosed and treated within a timely and realistic manner, and not have them drag on for years, this clinic is not for you! Notice how all the positive reviews of this place are from many years ago!!!

Secretary is ignorant and very rude doctors are great. I received a voicemail from the clinic to drop my paperwork off at the office the secretary refused to take it and forced me to get an appointment for over a month later

The secretaries are very rude, they refuse to help you. I tried contacting them throughout the whole summer. If the secretary is on vacation, no one else will book an appointment for you. If the doctor isn’t there, the secretary won’t book an appointment until the doctor gets back. I was finally able to get an appointment for October, they called to to cancel and reschedule… after getting off the phone with my pharmacy for my asthma pumps, I have been informed that they are expired. The pharmacy had sent two faxes to the clinic without any response from them. This clinic does the absolute bare minimum and the secretaries are very, very rude.
