Clean Finish Stucco

Thanks for a great job! Our house needed a facelift and Dennie’s crew were here on time and when they had finished everything looked great. I would recommend them.

Called Clean Finish stucco for an estimate. Spoke to Danny who told me to call Brittany to make an appointment. So I called her and made an appointment for Friday June 14 @ 1pm and Clean Finish was a no show or call.

The owner Dennie came and gave me a quote for some stucco repair over the winter. He came back with his crew, did the work like he promised in a timely fashion. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend his services.

I did not know Dennie previously however, when I called him, he responded quickly to my inquiry. I required stucco on two sides of my new attached garage, patching of the old window locations on my house and parging on new garage and existing house where it had fallen off. Dennie came down to look and gave me a quote. They started soon after to put on the wire and trim pieces to ensure straight, clean lines. His crew came back the next day to put on the scratch coat. The following week they did the stuccoing and parging. I was especially concerned about the patches matching the existing house but he assured me that he would make it look good. And it looks fantastic! Even though the original stucco is weathered, he matched it up perfectly and you basically cannot it was patched. I know where the patches were but most people will never be able to tell. He matched the finish perfectly on the thin stucco and the thick stucco areas. His crew cleaned up afterward and made sure things were wiped down. I highly recommend Clean Finish Stucco for new builds or renovations!

I gave Dennie a request for a quote in writing when he came, stating the repairs required and the coating to be done on both the house and garage. Although his quote was higher than a large company, we decided to support local. Big mistake. First the texture was to be the same as the old, it was totally different (see photos below). Second, when I contacted him to clear off the splatter from our sidewalk and vinyl fence when he came back to do the garage, he said the garage was not included!! Remember, I put the scope of work in writing. After dozens of emails back and forth, he agreed to do the garage for an extra $600.00. We didn't have a choice as we're on a city lot and two different colours and textures on the house and garage looked ridiculous, so I agreed to pay it. Had to call him back, he didn't do the piece under the man door on the garage, and there was a bald spot on the house with no texture. Forward to this spring, where a chunk of stucco coating 4" x 3" fell off the garage. I emailed and received the response that it was because the concrete pad had shifted. I have lived here 14 years and there has never been stucco that has fallen off in all that time. He has said he will come and check it out some day. While I am quick to praise good quality and workmanship, sadly this is not the case. Follow up comment - yes, I am out of patience waiting for you to solve issues. If this had been the first time, I wouldn't have given you a bad review. I did walk up and down the back lane and none of my neighbours have chips falling off their stucco, so I appear to be the only one who does. That says it's not shifting to me.

Dennie provided expert advice on my house re-stucco, was originally going to replace the front and gable siding with brick, but he suggested since the house had brick already maybe consider a smooth acrylic finish instead - excellent idea and it looks great! The rest of the house was done via traditional knock down white stucco, much better than what was there before and now shiny white. The pardging was cracked in several spots, but his team re-did that. Overall the house looks better than new, good job Dennie and team!

I needed a parging repair, and called numerous companies. Dennis responded quickly and came out to review the job to provide a quote in a timely manner. The price for the work was reasonable, and he started the job within the promised time frame. The first coating was negatively affected by a rain storm that appeared right after the coating was applied, but Dennis made sure he came out to fix the issues caused the heavy rain. He was very willing to work with me on all aspects of the job over the full term of the work. I really appreciated the job being done well, and the extra work that was put in due to the unplanned rain storm. I would highly recommend Clean Finish Stucco for your home or business needs.

Clean Finish Stucco recently Re-Stucco'ed my home. They did an amazing job and I would recommend them to anyone. It started with Dennie coming by my home to assess the work that was required. He explained exactly what Clean Finish would do for me, and gave me references that I could check with to ensure this was what I wanted. He also provided me with color samples and what textures they could provide. Once we agreed on a color and texture design, Dennie gave me a price, and we booked a date to do the job. Dennie and his crew arrived on site very early and finished the job in one day. There were 7 people on the crew and they all worked very hard (12 hours) to complete the job in this time. They did an amazing job and my house looks like it is brand new. They also cleaned up very thoroughly after they were complete and you cannot even tell they were here. I am beyond happy with the job they did and the service provided! I highly recommend Clean Finish Stucco if you are considering any type of stucco job
