Ils sont tellement bons ! Le service est très professionnel. Ils savent ce qu'ils font. Ce qui m'a le plus impressionné et la rapidité des retours de courriels et d'appels. Efficacité, minutie, honneteté, transparence. Très satisfaite de leur service et je les recommande fortement, pour moi, ils sont les meilleurs, je leur donnerais 10 étoiles !

Absurdly overpriced. I’ve been with Claude’s firm for personal and business tax services since late 2020, when I moved back to Canada from the US. Understandably, tax filings get tricky when moving countries, so I wasn’t too deterred when I saw my 2020 tax service bill in the low 4-digits. But my 2021 bill took the cake. ~50% more expensive than last year’s, despite having lived in Canada for the full year and a leaner tax package. My 2021 package contained my T-4 / Relevé 1 which were already generated by Claude’s firm; student fees for an online program from an American university; medical fees (which I had to fill in their table FOR them); stock sales and crypto. They seemed to be extremely confused by my 2021 student fees, even though the same person took care of my 2020 fees… I provided them with the necessary documents to calculate my 2021 fees (tax document generated by my school and ALL supporting receipts). They needed multiple phone calls and emails to discuss the fees. I even had to reach out to my school to understand the fee breakdown. I ultimately paid a ton of money to hold their hand throughout the process, despite providing everything correctly on my end right from the get-go. As for crypto, I don’t even know where to begin. I understand crypto tax implications are new, which can make tax declarations much more difficult. I knew that including crypto in my tax package would increase my bill because I needed to ask several questions to ensure I submitted the correct information. I had a total of about 50 transactions – no sales, just a handful of conversions and free ShakePay rewards. However, Claude’s team included a huge list of crypto-related line items on my bill, even though practically everything related to our crypto discussion was covered in a ~30 min phone call and 1 email. I knew I was paying them to review my list of transactions, but I didn’t know I was going to get charged literally per question I was asking them over the phone. I don’t know how many billable hours was allocated to the topic of crypto because they don’t include how much each line item/activity costs -just a large total at the bottom. Your guess is as good as mine. Avoid this firm unless you’re willing to spend thousands to file your taxes. You end up paying them to learn off your back.
