★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classics Tea Lounge has always been a favourite for my girlfriend and I thanks to the General Tao Chicken on their menu that we order using Skip the Dishes. We visited the actual restaurant about a month ago and the atmosphere was quite nice! As always, the chicken was very good ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good food. Everything on the menu tastes delicious. The braised pork with rice and Taiwanese spicy beef soup are my favourite main dishes. If you have the opportunity to dine in they also have amazing staff and family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been coming here since 2009 for the bubble tea and it’s always remained so delicious. Tonight I finally tried the food menu and I’m not sure why after all these years I never tried it sooner. I got the chicken Penang and it was delicious (I could have use it a bit more saucy but that’s just me!) I will be trying something new next time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a shell of its former glory. For me, this used to be THE go-to spot for Pad Thai. I love Pad Thai and I have tried the dish from as many restaurants in Kingston as I have been able to over the years, but I always came back to Classic's for more; especially for my birthday or any other special occasion.
I haven't eaten here for a few years, though, because their hours are a bit weird and haven't aligned with my schedule in a while. I did manage to grab my go-to order today, however... Beef Pad Thai with a Watermelon Milk Tea. I have no idea what happened to this place.
The Pad Thai was dry, barely enough sauce to coat the noodles. The noodles were stuck together like glue and looked as if they'd been stored in one of those air-tight packages for a while. The beef was overly fatty with a significantly higher portion of fat than beef, I picked out most of it and threw it away. There were no bean sprouts, either.
The Watermelon Milk Tea is as I remember it, if not a little weaker.
I'll be seeking out another place now. Honestly, Thai Express in the mall is better than this place now. I don't know if the pandemic hit them hard, but for $30 w/delivery I can't really afford to take the risk on them again. I'll go elsewhere for my bubble tea too, since there are new options in town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the restaurant on Uber Eats a while ago, the Blueberry black boba tea is really good. The Vegetable pad thai is some of the best I've had but they took away the vegetable option on Uber Eats and now you can only get beef, chicken and seafood. I have not ordered since September for this reason :( I hope it makes a return soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i came here for the first time w a friend and it has such a clean, lovely interior! there's also a little snack shop in the back, and they don't mind if you stay past your meal to study/do hw. great tasting food & drink w generous portions and the staff are so sweet & attentive :)
truly all the charm of a café with the service quality of a sit-down restaurant, can't wait to come back !! ?
