β β β β β I've been working with Martina and her assistant for a year, dealing with a child abuse case against my sons mother. I was referred to Martina by a friend that used Guyle Clark for her injury claim and she was very impressed with the way him and his firm dealt with everything. When I first contacted Martina it was very urgent and she was able to start fighting for me and my son that very same day. Throughout this year Martina never once made me feel alone, she has always been there almost instantaneously with any advise or help that I needed. She is very to the point in order to keep costs down, but completely available and knowledgeable with all aspects of family law, and if she didn't have the answer off hand she has lots of connections to clear up any difficult situation I had. she is not the type to give false info in order to get hopes up. Martina has dealt with my case as if she was going to court to protect her own son. I have nothing but the best to say about Martina.

β β β β β Stephen Glanzberg worked on my cohabitation agreement and did a good job. When it went to my wife's lawyer a clause was added. Stephen did not agree to it. He explained why and I understood. Both my wife and I set out the terms and agreed to them. It was win win versus leaving it entirely to BC law. The Cohabitation agreement needed his signature to become valid. This is where it went wrong. He "formatted" the document without permission and decided to charge me $500 instead of the $300 we agreed upon via email. He also wanted a waiver of liability freeing himself from my ability to come back at him. Since I approached him to sign the document this was confusing to me. Stephen was professional to start then quickly devolved to being unreasonable and difficult to work with. The Cohabitation agreement is useless with out it being signed by a lawyer. I now have to go find another lawyer to get this completed. I cannot recommend Stephen Glanzberg and the company Clarkwoods LLP.

It was often so hard to decipher the lines of legalese and make decisions comfortably in this already stressful situation. I found his communication skills and ability to listen to, and answer my questions/concerns to be exceptional. It gave me peace of mind to really feel I had someone wanting to help me through this. As a direct result of his service, I had a good resolution that was fair and I feel that I made the best choices in a difficult situation and can move forward.
