I tried another local tile store first (Cornerstone) and actually ordered $1,000 worth of tile from the other place. They told me a 3-week delivery, which became 2 months, then 3 months (or never, it looked like). So I canceled the Cornerstone order and went to City Tile where they have everything in stock, so you won't get hung-up on a ridiculous never-arriving tile order. I ended up spending 1/2 the price at City Tile as I had planned to spend at Cornerstone, and drove home with my tile the same day! Love my results. I was doing a tub surround for my 1940s house and wanted to retain the vintage look. I used this gorgeous Italian Joyful Azure, with a retro octagon mosaic for border, all in black picture frame. All from City Tile.

So, when I say that a company is Amazing, it is based on having purchased and used a product as well as having experienced the delivered service first hand. City Tile is exceptional in both areas. My husband and I had a disaster on our hands after we discovered how much our backyard terrace had deteriorated from water creeping in under the tiles and membrane sold to us 7 years ago by another company. Since we had worked with City Tile on many other home renovation projects, Dominic and Rose Staniscia, owners of City Tile, were the first people we discussed our disaster with. Their expertise guided us to a Porcelain Paver Tile solution which is second to none and the only solution for our rainy climate. We were able to turn our disaster into a terrace that is not only beautiful but will withstand the elements for many years to come. We cannot thank them and their wonderful staff enough and highly recommend City Tile to anyone looking to beautify their home whether inside or outside!

I will gladly spend more money on the same product literally anywhere else rather than choosing to shop here ever again. I am letting all my contacts and contractor friends know all about it. Just a terrible place in my opinion.

The staff looked at me as if I had a 3rd eye when asking about square tiles. Would rather buy local but had to order online from other suppliers.

Unfortunately we had an issue with some of the tile. I called the store to discuss the issue and was immediately put through to the owner. Instead of getting the regular brush-off that I expected, I was pleasantly surprised that Dominic took full ownership of the problem. After a few attempts, he came up with a solution that was far beyond our expectations. We won't ever go anywhere else for tile. Thanks again, Paul and Sandy, Qualicum Beach.

I have recommended them often and have heard nothing but wonderful experiences. The staff definitely knows how to customize and help with difficult decisions for any design. They have definitely made returning customers for future and this is the only tile shop I will recommend!

They have a great selection of tiles and you can return your excess even if the box isn't full so you aren't stuck with extra tiles. Would definitely shop there again for my future tiling projects.
