City Square Shopping Centre - Lot #106

Not most exciting place but it is what it is! More business than anything.

Free parking for first hour if you make a purchase and validate your parking. Not usually crowded

Went shopping for grocery on a motocycle. Cannot validate the ticket with purchase and were told we cannot park in car spot. Not for motocycle users.

It's okay, generally feels a little old and the smell of food fills the whole mall which is pretty off putting. It does the job but it isn't a mall I'd visit by choice, we were there purely for an appointment. Great place to grab a bite if you work at the nearby hospital.

It’s a mall that needs more people in it. There is Safeway, Steve Nash Fitness, Kins Market, and Dollarama, but it needs the crowd that Oakridge Mall gets. It looked so empty the day I visited. I like this mall because it has a certain quaint feeling about it. Maybe because of that “heritage look” or maybe because the merchants has time to smile and greet you in a genuine way. I like natural light and this mall has lots of it coming from the sky light. In any case, if you read my reviews and looks at my photos, may I suggest you take a quick stroll at City Square mall. There are some pretty healthy food selections, a bubble tea place or maybe just get a few grocery items. Yes you need to pay for parking but this is one way to help our local businesses. However, if you buy something from one of the merchants, get your parking ticket stamped and you got yourself free parking. This mall needs more foot traffic and visitors. Can you get your feet strolling the inside of City Square Mall? I know I’ll try the Taiwanese soup at one of the eateries just because... (UPDATE: July 24,2019, Wednesday- great to see so many people inside this once forlorn mall. Glad to see locals eating, talking and just giving this well deserving mall a business lift.) UPDATE: February 8, 2022, Tuesday - wow, just wow! More people inside the mall and new merchants as well. I was sad when Safeway closed down, but lo and behold a new grocery store called SunGiven opened and I found some Asian food that I love, yay! Have a visit with your friends today and enjoy a cup of coffee. Don’t forget to get your parking ticket stamped.
