Seriously ticketing people for not having a receipt on dash who pay with your app? When you literally have signage for the app everywhere?

The signage suggests one can pay with coins but the machines only accept credit cards. If there is a machine in the vicinity that accepts coins, perhaps the signs could say where to find it so people wouldn't waste their time running around the garage searching for it.

I've known this parking lot for decades. It used to be clean, well maintained, but now that filthy Impark scoundrels operate it, it looks like a parkade on skid row. It is filthy and there were splotches of what looked like vomit splashed on the filthy ground. If I had not had to rush to my appointment, I would have parked elsewhere. I paid for an hour as I wasn't certain how long my appointment would take. So that was over $5. In my haste and after the stress of driving through rush hour traffic from Burnaby to Vancouver, I didn't notice that the parking machine had not asked for either the plate # or the stall #, grabbed my receipt and rushed to my appt. It was only 20 min and I was back at my car. I saw a piece of paper on my windshield and thought what?? It stank of cigarettes all around my car. I was reading what turned out to be a ticket for an astonishing amount, $88 but reduced to #68 if paid within 7 days. As I read it a small man came up to me, holding his stinking cigarette away from him and asked "Did you pay" I said of course I oaid but I forgot to put receipt on dash as I was in a rush. He said he could not cancel the ticket but if I call Impark, they will cancel it. Called in morning and they refused to cancel it and said I had to pay $10 for 'failing to display'. I said, well, I did pay and for a whole hour for something that took 20 min, so you made your money on me already, it was an error, you should just let it go. No go. So I oaid these Impark scum their $10 on top of the $5 and change I already paid because I just don't need the stress of fighting this. Filthy company. Avoid parking lots operated by these scoundrels if you can. Otherwise, park at own risk.

Parked at a nearby Impark not listed on Google but it was nearby right underneath The Skin Care Centre. Machine was broken, an Asian guy in an orangey jacket holding a toddler said he's not going to pay so I did the same as I needed to hurry to my appointment. Got back in 30 minutes, and of course I've gotten a ticket with no employee/issuer to be found. Even so, the ticket says "PATROLLERS CANNOT CANCEL NOTICES" which just sounds way too convenient to me. And before I forget, the machine doesn't accept cash, coins, or mobile payment. Sounds like the perfect scheme to also invade your privacy by taking your card number. By the time I got out, I noticed there was a white paper sticked on top of the parking sign entrance saying 'OUT OF ORDER". So why did I get a ticket if they knew the machine was broken? Did I fall for one of scummy Impark's elaborate scam? This known fraudulent and predatory company should be shut down or face a class action lawsuit for millions of people they've scammed over the decades. If you can avoid parking at an Impark don't park at an Impark.
