I arrived at 12:31 on a Friday. the wait time said 3 hours, I chose to stay. I was almost immediately called into an examination room and sat for 3 hours. At the 2:50 mark I went out of the room to ask how much longer. I was told someone had picked up my chart which meant they were reading my file. at the 2:55 mark - almost 3 1/2 hours in - I went out of my room again to ask status. Within minutes I had a lovely doctor come in and apologize that it had been so long. Said next time, ask earlier what was going on. Did admit it was their error/oversight. Anyway, tooooo long a wait with zero attention but doctor was helpful, I hope. Don't know how my treatment will work for another week or so.

Important info for anyone considering coming here: don’t. Every single time I’ve been here, I’ve had to seek a second opinion to get an accurate diagnosis and medication - not something you want when you choose to go to the urgent care. Especially when it’s a time sensitive issue. The wait time online often states a # less than 1 hour. Which is a joke, because you will wait in line for 4 hours, they will randomly choose to close early on certain days and stop accepting patients at 9:30 a.m. Most concerning though is the incompetence and condescending nature of the doctors that work there. I had a serious medical issue that required prompt treatment β€” and they sent me home with no guidance or meds. Went to a second urgent care and the doctors were absolutely floored that any doctor would not treat me. I’ve previously sent a complaint to their team to privately address very serious ethical issues that I had noticed and was ignored. Save your time and go literally anywhere else. Your health is too important to trust this clinic.

I had an excellent experience at this urgent care walk-in clinic. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Dr Murata who treated me was such a kind and caring person, took time asking about my health and really listened to me and helped me. Vancouver is lucky to have this place.

While the wait was a little long before I saw a doctor, at 1.5 hours, I was just happy to be able to see someone since my GP of 25 years left her practice to join Telus Health. The staff are professional, courteous and kind. My referral came through the next day and I already have an appointment - that was impressive.

I was made to wait 5 hours when it said 1 hour wait. You must plead for help in this system. When I saw the doctor and nurse they were extremely kind and compassionate and totally prepared to help. I was shocked they were able to maintain such positivity when they are so overworked. There was only one or two docs on shift all day on a Saturday to serve people in downtown vancouver. I don’t have any idea why they are so understaffed. It was worth the wait but I wish they weren’t under so much pressure. It’s not fair. Please staff more docs and nurses and pay the nurses a good wage! Thank you Dr M and Nurse K.

Been at the centre in North Vancouver a number of times. The most recent one was yesterday January 27, 2022. I expected the waiting room to be full - - I was the only one there! I was taken into a consultation room immediately and was attended to by two RNs who were professional, caring and knowledgeable. I had my original reason for being there dealt with and I wondered if I was allowed to ask a question about another unrelated issue I had. They said sure, it wasn't busy at the time, and proceeded to deal with that in the same professional manner. The centre is reasonably new and clean, tidy and bright. It was a pleasure to deal with the staff and to be situated in comfortable, safe surroundings. Thank you to you all for once again proving your worth!!!

That 1 Doctor was excellent in his mannerisms, advice and prescription that he gave to me. He went beyond to make sure I was taken care of. It made me happy when I left there! The nurse was good, but i felt she didn't spend enough time with me. The receptionists were good too , however they did alot of talking& laughing amongst each other. Perhaps that time could have been spent with dealing with the patients or other things.
