★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Citizen is amazing. So many options for people with dietary requirements and lots of vegan choices. I had a gluten free wrap with Pine View Farms deli meat and it was all so fresh and tasty! The beautiful environment and staff add to the experience of great coffee and food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything about Citizen Cafe and Bakery is to die for. The coffee, the food, the atmosphere - it's all top tier. Their espresso is the best I've had in Saskatoon by FAR. It's creamy, rich, not acidic or bitter at all, and is all around comforting, warming, and soothing. The baking and food is especially fantastic as well. As someone who lives mostly plant-based, it is comforting and exciting to know that I'll be greeted with freshly made goodies with quality ingredients whenever I decide to pop in. I can't recommend this place enough. It's one of a kind and truly a gem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Latte and a pop tart. Latte is smooth and mellow. The taste is balanced, nothing really jumps out. The pot tart inspired desert is a vast improvement to the original. Strawberry rhubarb filling, and a sticky glaze on the outside. To be eaten slowly with a non sweetened beverage, or perhaps, dare I say, a latte? Come down for the experience
