Parents please be mindful when swimming ratio by law is different I'm sure

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Weekend cashier a man with a beard and glasses is rude and inconsiderate towards some kids. I have heard him make cruel remarks towards girls and on issues that are important he seems to be carefree or like he doesn't have a solution. Looks like the city of Winnipeg staff need more training on sensitive issues involving children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t go here if you’re looking to go to the gym consistently. Erratic hours (even before the pandemic); sometimes the staff rush you out 5 mins before closing. They also have insane closing periods for repairs; this time it’s 5 months for maintenance. Machines can also be out for repair for 2 months.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited here just recently as I wanted to visit The Harvey Smith Library. What a difference from what the recreation centre once was. It is a multipurpose location with a library and sports facilities, and very well run. It would really be nice of The City of Winnipeg cared about other facilities the same way they do about this one. Recommend everyone take the opportunity to visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Feels like a home! The equipment is more than enough and barely any waiting times to use them, affordable drop in rate if you don’t want the commitment, friendly people, clean gym. The only suggestion is the locker rooms need to be updated. It has been like this since the 90s and individual showers would be ideal and barely anyone carries change nowadays so the .25 cents per locker needs to change lol
