I have been a customer of CIBC for more than 27 years with branches in two provinces. This branch is terribe. The lineups are constant and very slow moving.There are at least eight wickets, but I have only seen two or maybe three tellers working. I have noticed that CIBC consistently has the greatest profits of the big banks in Canada, they should value the people that put them there! Clearly my time is not important for this branch. I totally agree with previous reviews that this branch is understaffed.

Constant lineups out the door and around the corner. I thought that was a temporary thing because of the virus but it's still going on so looks pretty permanent to me. They seem to only have 2 tellers working at any given time which is far too few for this branch. Yes, other banks have similar things going on but this one seems to have the longest lines I have seen.

This particular cibc branch is so slow (often 1 hour lineups). It is faster to drive 25mins to Lake Country cibc and do my banking there. The tellers at are all nice at the kelowna location, but there is never enough tellers open. Management obviously does not care...profits before service. I've been moving my accounts to Royal bank across the street. The wait is 10mins, not 60mins!

I come in once a week, sometimes more. Every single time there’s a lineup out the door, 10 people in their offices, and 1 or two people at the till. Going to the bank to deposit a cheque shouldn’t take 45 minutes to an hour but sure enough everytime it does! And with Covid? If you had more staff working at the front then you wouldn’t have a massive crowd of customers in the lobby. Just sayin.

Out of all the banks I have dealt with in my lifetime this is by far the most helpful and professional I have ever dealt with . On multiple occasions the assistant manager Quinn went out of his way to assist me and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and had access to my money for rent . Super great and friendly staff . I can’t say enough how much you won’t regret choosing this bank . The line ups at certain times may be long and that’s expected when it’s right by a mall . I use the atm anyways . But when I do have to talk to a teller they are always happy to help with a smile . It’s rare when a business , let alone a bank really goes out of their way for you . It gives me hope that there are still good people out there . Which there is at this bank! Go there! FYI they did they all for me even before I even had an account with them ! Super great people ! I have banked with CIBC for years.... That said, I recently attempted to bring over a substantial fund I have in the UK. The meeting process was fine and the agent was helpful, but since then I have not heard a word on the status of my funds. It has been since June 3rd and we're now half way through July, not one email or phone call returned. The lineups are always around the block and they seem to only ever have 2 people at the counter. TD is looking like a much better option moving forward at this point.

Had a very, very stressful day when I walked into the bank, and was struggling to find words at the front when trying to describe what I wanted. This Korean worker caught onto what I wanted, and provided the best customer service experience I had ever experienced at a bank. I was so grateful to receive her help that day, and this review is the only way I can think of thanking her. If you happen to know her, please let her know that she's doing a great job.

I had a great experience banking with Sherry Hsieh, the mortgage advisor for this location. Sherry was very efficient and quick to work on securing favorable rates (as compared to the other major banks), while also obtaining firm approval in a timely manner. The process was very tedious, I have had some complications on the approval process set by federal regulations, Sherry was quick to adapt and communicated changing needs (as of recent interest rate hikes), while maintaining the offered terms. I really appreciate the effort she put in to meet my banking needs and highly recommend her to anyone in the interior!
