They are amazing. I had a few consultations with the Dermatology department and even if certains aspects seem expensive they are always by far the least costly when compared. I have a local vet but get my medication here because it is always much cheaper and they deliver (for free). They really care about your pet and will try to guide you the best they can within your means. Thanks for taking care of my little Poncho and his very persistent dust allergy!

I brought them a sick fish and they treated it with all the seriousness they'd give someone's pet dog. I was very impressed with how thorough and knowledgeable they are, great place.

They are good at their veterinary work but it seems that the demand is too high so it is hard to get appointments and the covid19 sanitary measures they adopted make it very uncomfortable for the pet owners who should wait outside for several hours regardless of the weather conditions. In addition, they do not allow direct conversation with the veterinarian, every communication needs to be done by cell phone.

Recently moved to QC with my dogs and pet pig. We've had one dog emergency and just some routine appointments for our pig. Everyone is incredibly nice, thorough and caring towards our animals. They update frequently and never overcharge. We will continue to come here in the future.

Very disappointed in our experience with this vet. Traveled hours from New Brunswick for surgery for our bunny who has an ear infection. They gave our New Brunswick vet an estimate for the surgery and we decided to go after realizing it was the nearest place in Canada that would operate. When we arrive we are told it will be about 1000$ instead and we decide to proceed but asked MULTIPLE times if that price covered everything, including the surgery, they said yes(we asked the receptionist and the vet as well). We also asked if the surgery would be happening today or tomorrow and they said they would do their best to do it today. We signed the papers and 9 hours later they call us to pick up our Bunny because her tests are done. THEY ONLY DID TESTS AND NO SURGERY. So 1000$ for tests and they told us if we wanted surgery it would cost over 2000$ possibly WAY more , they were unwilling to tell us exactly how much. We were grossly misinformed the entire time and the vet kept offering more tests and more expenses and told us we would have to come back to get the surgery. We feel extremely scammed having traveled 7 hours and paying 1000$ for a surgery that never happened but were told would.

Utterly disgusted by our experience with this vet. For a month we've been in contact with them for our bunny's surgery and for a month we were told the price would be around $750 for tests and surgery included. We pulled up today after a 7.5 hour drive to be told that the price would now be between $900 to $1000. We had already driven all the way there so we decided to go with it. I asked multiple times before leaving to make sure that this included the tests and the surgery and once again I was told that it included everything. I also asked if the surgery was going to be today or tomorrow and they said they would do there best to have it done today but that it would depend on how long she would take to wake up from anesthesia after her CT scan. They called 9 hours later to say that our bunny was doing "fine" and that we could pick her up and schedule an appointment for a surgery. Very confused I asked why the surgery wasn't going tomorrow like we had talked about in the morning and was told that it was never going this week in the first place. Still confused I asked if the $1000 we were about to pay was going to include surgery. After a whole month of being told it would, I was informed that it would be an additional $2500 for the surgery but it could be more if there were complications. The whole time they were pushing for more and more tests to drive up the price, never offered any information about the condition of our pet and refused to answer many of our questions. We went through all of this to finally be told that our bunny's condition was so bad that she might not even wake up from surgery and would likely never recover if she did. All this vet school wants is to drain your wallet and force as many tests and procedures as they can to make sure their students get enough practice. They are very shady and not to be trusted.

The staff were all very courteous and showed a genuine concern for my dog when we brought her in. They were good about explaining to us what they were going to do with her, made sure we felt reassured and comfortable that she would be well looked after. The doctor was respectful of our budget and was willing to explain to us all our various options for tests and treatments and broke down everything for us so we could make the best informed decisions. We are very grateful to all of the staff for their compassion and their hard work.

I have only to thank all the personnel of the CHUV-St-Hyacinthe. I had an emergency with my dog on the 31 of December, and we were treated super kindly by everyone, from the technician on the phone till the amazing vet Dre. Fardel. I only regret that I didn't ask everyone's name, I would name them all for sure. It amazed me how much they care, and how polite they all are. Merci infiniment ❤️
