★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very spacious and open park, lots of fields and baseball diamonds. There’s a nice pond with a lot of sometimes aggressive geese. Decent sized parking lot. Certain parts offer a lot of shade from the trees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a nice park! Not too big, not too small. Some nice paths to walk that are stroller friendly. Looks like some fun playground equipment there a well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely clean park with three or four playgrounds for all ages, peacocks, deers, splash pad, small campground, BBQ area, picnic tables, full court basketball, baseball diamonds, trails, plenty parking, restrooms, all accessible. Kids love it here. Splash pad open daily from 11am -7pm in season

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a lovely park. LOTS of shady trees, a public washroom, water areas, a lot of open space. AND because of covid the space outdoors was perfect for social distancing.
We attended our son's wedding here. It was so hot that day but the trees provided great shade. THE water wheel was a wonderful place for photos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an AMAZING park! We just discovered it yesterday and it's now our favorite! Great trails for biking and scooting. Awesome play areas for kids. Baseball diamonds and big fields. It's early in spring so I assume there will be even more options (picnics and such) as the weather gets better.
Most importantly it's clean!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite place to visit daily ? my uncle Wayne La Croix (godfather)helped design make the Water Wheel that sits near hwy24 main Entrance ways pond. It was a Southwood High School Class that worked on and put it there and it remains there to this day. It no longer works but it is still there. It's what I cherish most. He died when I was only 2 years old, so it means just a little bit more to me for that reason. ?
