β β β β β I wish I had read Natalie So's review first! My hair also looks like a chewed frizz ball. My family couldn't believe that I came from Chura 30 minutes prior. I sent an email to the account below with photos...wish I could post them here. Hope to hear back soon to regain my faith in Chura as previous experiences were great. Will have to hide under a hat for my trip.

Another stylist did kindly reply after my initial review. He re-permed my hair, offered a hair treatment, and it was soooooo much better. In fact, curls are still looking great and healthy now 9 months out. I am happy with the final customer service that is the norm for Chura. Sorry it took so long to update.

β β β β β Followed Mineo to this new location years ago and it's been great with haircuts, perm, and also colour. They book up quickly and requires reservation, but definitely worth the wait!

β β β β β Mineo is very patient when communicating with me. He wants to know exactly what I want and then responds and makes suggestion. He has exceptionally good skills on cutting and colouring. My hair would not be dry or damaged after colouring.

β β β β β They're way booked up into early Sept., but I snagged an earlier appointment because I went with a junior hair stylist (don't think I got his name). I had very long thick hair and asked for a shoulder-length haircut and layer.
- All staff were professional, punctual and kind.
- Junior stylist took a bit longer than usual stylists - but that's expected and ok because he's still in training.
- I'm very happy with his work. I usually find that a lot of hair salons have had difficulty with my thick Asian hair, and can end up with unnatural, choppy, cuts - this was not the case with Chura. My hair looks natural and I really the cut.
- Cheaper price for junior stylist.
Would definitely return to this hair salon and stylist for future cuts. Good job team. :)

β β β β β I always have a great experience here for both haircuts and colouring! Mineo is so patient and thorough when communicating and offers his advice for how to best achieve your desired style. Make sure to book early as they can get quite busy! :)

β β β β β I don't usually go to hair salons but after seeing some reviews I decided to give it a try!
As my first, I was extremely happy with my haircut and overall whole experience. My hairstylist was Tanya (Ai). I showed her some pictures of the kinds of hairstyles I wanted and she helped me incorporate ideas that would suit me best. She did an amazing job dyeing my hair, washing (the massage and scrubbing felt so nice n relaxing!), and blow drying. The end results had got me feeling like a new person haha! I love my new brown, super silky and smooth hair. The serum she applied to my hair had the most aromatic watermelon smell ever and I ended up buying one for myself.
I am super pleased with my experience and I will be back again soon!!! Thank you so much!
