I've been enjoying chocolate from Bernard's for years. It is absolutely the best chocolate in the region. You pay for it, but it is totally worth it.

I received a box of these as a gift today. Holy yummy! I've had "good" chocolate, or I thought I had before. But these were awesome. Usually I can eat a box of the stuff but these go a long way.

The service here was great! Very friendly and very knowledgeable about chocolate. The chocolates here are very high quality and made with premium ingredients so you will pay a premium for that but it's well worth it. Check out the cupcake shop while you're here - amazing cupcakes!

I bought two Marzipan donuts as a gift and they were so stale and inedible you could break a tooth on them. We couldn’t even cut it with a knife. My mother is German and knows exactly what marzipan is, has baked with it before, and it shouldn’t be hard as a rock. The woman we dealt with was pretty rude when my mom brought them back to let them know they should take them off the shelf (they didn’t). My family had often visited to buy chocolate and gifts over the past many years of living in old north. It’s safe to say we won’t be going back.
