★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chloe Angus made my university graduation dress years ago and did a fantastic job. She is a hard working, small business owner and I am quite flabbergasted (but not surprised) that people read one article in a newspaper and come here to trash her (yep, most of these reviews are very recent). What gets me the most is the comments about 'dumbing down' a culture - this is NOT what she said. Chloe is into fashion. If you look at ANY designer (e.g., Givenchy, Prada, Alexander McQueen etc) they present some VERY bold designs on the runway, most of which the 'average' consumer will not wear, even if they can afford those prices, hence those same designer presenting a ready to wear line. Fashion starts at the very top with those brilliant designers and literally works down to retailers such as H&M who take the season's trend and essentially make them their own, for their own target market (e.g., replacing silk with cotton). I am pretty sure THAT is what she meant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My brother and I bought two masks each and love them! They fit nice and the material is very comfortable. However, I bought some bamboo fleece lined leggings at the end of November and I am not thrilled with these or the response I received. I sent an email voicing my concern and heard nothing back, so I phoned and was told that it had something to do with the particular bolt that these were made from and the only solution was to use a blade to remove all the pills. I will not be rushing to order any more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous Clothing , visiting the studio is always fun , every time I am in I learn more and more about each fashion piece , including the artists and the designs. I love how it feels like a private shopping experience with every visit. Its hard not to walk out without having at least 3-4 gorgeous pieces.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chloe Angus is without a doubt one of my most cherished friends I have ever had . She represents what true hard work and entrepreneurship is . She’s honest, loyal , kind loving and fair . We disagree often as my conservative Ideas don’t always meld well with her truly open and progressive beliefs . She’s non toxic which is more than I can say for those who seek to besmirch her reputation for having a vision and creating and collaborating exquisite high-quality clothing , accessories that partner with indigenous artists alike. She’s worked hard to get to where she is . Sometimes it’s just better to understand than to be understood. This is one those times . If I’m ever boxed in and facing down a bad situation I know who I’d want in my corner . Chloe Angus I’m in your corner . If you haven’t sampled her collection I highly recommend it.

Having her explain the difference designs by the different First Nation artists has made my choice feel even more meaningful. I feel like I’m wearing a true piece of quality art! ?
