★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They had no rooms but 2 camper trailers. The owners were accomidating. Friendly and very curteous. I recommend them strongly. And they have good food. The local chipmunks and red squirrels love eating from your hand. Stop in. Say hello. You won't be sorry. Thank you guys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff was incredibly rude. Asked for a additional cup for our gravy and the staffed complained that everyone is asking additional items and that she will start charging. We said we would but she didn't accept. Food was alright. Fries and gravy were very good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful night sleep here through a thunderstorm! Clean and quiet place with friendly owners. Grateful for their trailer in the back equipped with kitchenette and cooking utensils. The beach is heavenly nearby for a natural bath or swim!

There were a lot of hairs between the sheets.
Positive:
Price is average overall and a little better than normal locally.
Helpful owners who allowed us to use their freezer.
5G wifi. A place a only few minutes further north offers no TV and no Wifi and was more expensive.
Water is Well water treated with UV light. That is a plus for us as we do not like chlorinated water.
Plenty of hot water.
They have extra towels and blankets in the room.
Negative
The assortment of hairs in between the sheets.
Single ply toilet paper. And only one roll.
No AC. A fan is provided.
Shower head is placed for someone 5 feet tall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to stay! Owners Les and Joanne are the nicest people on earth! Love staying here...feel very welcome....feel right at home. And the chicken shack has awesome food! Love it! Would highly recommend the Chicken Shack....5 stars in my books ❤?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I normally wouldn't write a review but I thought should to help travelers deciding to stay here. This motel is located approx 45 mins north of the Soo. It's very close to Batchwana Bay Provincial Park and Pancake Bay Provincial park. Lake Superior Provincial Park about 1 hour north. The rooms are nice, don't expect anything fancy. Bed was comfortable and nice hot shower. Mini fridge and microwave in the room. Satellite TV if you want as well. Colleen the owner is fantastic to deal with very responsive over the phone, her staff are friendly and helpful. The Chicken Shack food hut by the rooms is a nice bonus. Food is fresh and tasty, you have to give it a try. My only suggestion is updating the rooms at some point making them rustic and out doorsy. Also better lighting and better signage at the highway to draw people in. Definitely stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fellas and I (dude) stopped off here last night on our way back from fishing. The two ladies who served us an amazing burger and some other odds and ends were awesome. Sociable and entertaining. Wishing you two gems the best and thanks for your smiles and energy ??
