J	JCHI Home Inspection on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usually very fresh and hot. Today, the chicken was pre prepared and was sitting in the warming drawer. Fresh fries were dropped into the oil when I placed my order. Overall, it was a very good meal with leftovers for later.

We ordered Family Combo to go. We had a good experience than our expectations. Chicken on the Way is the fast food restaurant in Calgary and the servings are generous and delicious chickens, which is the same style as KFC. We arrived the Chicken On the Way around 5 pm. There was a huge lineup, but the line went very fast. After waiting for few minutes, we got our order. We had a family pack, which included Chickens, French Fries, Cornballs, Gravy, and Vegetable Salad. The chickens were oily and crispy. French Fries were OK and nothing excited. Compare to McDonald’s, I like McDonald fries more. The Cornballs were my favorite. They were sweet and crispy. Dipped cornballs into the Gravy. The taste was awesome. The prices of the food were very cheap around $28. In summary, we had a great experience at Chicken on the Way.

D	David on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the spicy chicken. It's 10 cents extra per piece and it's made to order so you'll have to wait 15 mins which was no problem. The problem was that it was incredibly salty. The saltiest fried chicken I've ever had.
P	Pat Bishop on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typically really good, but I think maybe I got reheated food left over from the lunch rush ( I went there mid afternoon ) the chicken was dried out on the inside and greasy on the outside. The fries were also dark and hard with the majority being smaller pieces than usual. Service was excellent.
B	Bluue on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just moved to the area. Have tried 14th st twice. Wasn't a huuuuge fan then. Had a craving for fritters so popped in this afternoon. Ordered fish and fritters. WOW...... Sooooo oily. Omg. The fish had a thick batter and was so greasy I ate half of the 2 huge pieces :( The fritters are very dense. Thick batter. No dip offered. Honey or a Buttermilk ranch would have been decent. It's been about 10 years and unfortunately this is my last. Service was friendly

The chicken itself was perfectly cooked and juicy. I ordered 2 - 4 piece dinners and subbed out the fries for fritters in one order and added gravy. The fritters were heavy and would not order again - but if you like a hearty fritter then you may enjoy these. The fries were good and the gravy was what I expected - service was excellent - the photos attached show package to plate. You get a lot of fritters when you pay the $1 to substitute as shown. I believe I received 9 total plus the 2 in the other box gave us 11 - ? that’s a lot of fritters for 2 meals - I do recommend Chicken on the way - prices were very good for the size of the meal.
