★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were welcomed with a disrespectful man leaning on to the door showing up his belly giving comments to other staff. I doubt if he know what hospitality is. The menu was well sanitized but sticky wet. We asked for a corner table and the server was rude and behaved like she is paying for our food. Plates had fancy curves with food left overs and wasn’t clean. We asked for a chardonnay but got a wrong one served by the manager with a very strange attitude we. The food was okay. All other staff except one (Mariia) were very disappointing. Mariia was very attentive, asked for feedbacks, always wear a smile on her face, she was the only reason for us not to cancel the entire order. Never suggest to anyone. Overall rating 0.5 out of 10. If this is how they are gonna treat the guest im pretty sure they are almost near the grave.

I appreciate the staff checking our vaccine status, the food came out in less than 10 minutes, the waitress was very sweet. The washrooms and seating area is extremely clean. Great atmosphere! Thank you for the experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dine in service is good. Chicken was little salty. Onion rings was delicious. Only problem that I notice is we don't get bucket chicken for dine in. Its only available for takeout. I believe for a group bucket chicken should be more perfect to share some enjoyable moments. And the main thing.. Large pieces of chicken.. Goodd..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place, I mostly use the drive through and am never disappointed. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Best part is they will remember you after the first or second visit and can recall your favorites. If there is any issues (and issues are so infrequent) they resolve it quickly. Definitely the place to eat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the second time in a month I've asked for a chicken ceasar salad, drove 15 miles home after paying FOURTEEN DOLLARS for it and got no chicken. Both times they asked twice if i wanted chicken. I won't be going here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This isn't the first time I have been to Chicken Chef in Portage, I wanted to go a few times before reviewing. After my 3rd visit and very sporadic mind you, it was such an amazing experience. Staff is extremely down to earth and kind, they seem like family more than just waiters and waitresses! Food is very fast, small wait times and food comes out hot and ready! The environment as well is modern, with a more open concept then you would find at older chicken chefs. Very updated feel that makes returning a whole lot easier on the eyes as well as the taste buds! Thank you for the meals and the home vibe feels !
Will be returning for times to come!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Chicken Chef is the best one I’ve ever been to. I’ve been a number of times and the staff is fast and attentive. I had the two piece fish and chips, the fish fillets are quite large, I’m a big lad, and the two piece is more than sufficient. Mother had the Hawaiian salad once again.
